- The MK pride is deploying different tactics to counteract the threat from the Nomads. A group of lionesses break off from the pride and travel north to meet the new males: distraction mating could keep the Nomads away from their territory, their cubs, and the other vulnerable members of the clan. But it’s a dangerous gamble by the females, to come so close to males who’ve already attacked the neighboring pride. Can they use their feminine wiles to manipulate the males, and keep the rest of their pride safe from invasion?

@@presentfullies8692 Its up to them to protect the females. They dont "lead" they just send out hunting parties, lions dont need to move either since they have their own territories. The females and males are both symbiotic and have equally important roles.

Considering humans aren't meant to be monogamous...not a good chance. Especially since social media is perfect for the "old flame" to come rushing back in all because of a friend request or a flirty comment, which leads to an equivalent flirty comment returned, which then leads to a private message, which then leads to "let's get coffee for lunch and catch up" which leads to getting actual lunches which leads to one person laying down on top of the other person on their lunch break. And so on and so on...and some people never find out their partner is getting some stank on the hang-down during their lunch break. Just listen to either Rula and Ryan's roses or "Ryans roses" with Ryan Seacrest and every Thursday I believe is another couple cheating and getting caught (some ppl that call in are faking it but the majority are real. Throw on too of all of the above that 1 out of 2 marriages end in divorce...but you'll be ok. It won't happen to you.

Lions never cease to be awe-inspiring. Their social structures & intelligence reflect complexities & a certain level of consciousness. Lionesses especially are higher in their cognitive perceptions & actions. They r also a backbone of a pride. So humans r not the sole species that r intelligent & capable. We surely can learn something about the lions & wildlife.

I disagree. Male Lions are very, very intelligent and just as, if not more, capable than Lionesses. They live the hardest lives and are forced to survive on their own or usually with another male Lion via a coalition. Lionesses will always be part of the pride and have the stability that it brings, their lives are also the least in danger during a pride take over.
You should watch Notch or Makhulu. Notch lost his brother and was a lone Lion of the pride, but formed a coalition with his sons instead of ousting them in order to maintain his power and ended up growing into a powerful dynasty that took over many prides and fathered many cubs. A similar situation happened with Makhulu and his younger brothers.
I can go on and on since I've watched many Lion documentaries, but I do agree, Lionesses are very intelligent animals and are more elegant, refined hunters than a male Lion.

How come these male lions look much smaller than other in the bush? Even their manes are not as thick and full. They aren’t dark either. Straight blonde manes, maybe that’s why their called Hollywood.
These males have not entirely matured; also not all males have full, thick and black manes. It depends on their genetics and where they are in the world (and their age ofc).
Also it's the pride with only lionesses who are called Hollywood, but they're not in this video. Here it's the lionesses from the MK pride.
