I think that it started to have its downfall in the end of 2022/start of 2023, in 2022 i remember it was pretty alive because of the gacha mods, but the dramas and the start of the "gacha tiktok" era was some of the motives to the community start to dying. And tbh it really would be cute if the kids find about gacha, but i don't really think that they would like to do videos, since gacha videos take a lot of time to make, and kids nowadays can't even watch a video with more than 30 seconds.. As the community grows older, so do the members, they get influenced on their own lives and form opinions and start to not accepting many other things, making the members unable to post just anything they want, whoch is sort of the life of the gacha community and like yeah, but as any other community, it will thrive in its eras in its own way

As someone who used to be in the Gacha community, I do agree that small creator’s nowadays won’t grow much . But with time and effort they will. For me personally it didn’t work out no matter how hard I tried. The only video that did blow up was a GCRV which personally, I don’t like making since I like animating. The problem in this community is that people tend to ignore actual talented creators (Saying this because I’ve seen many gacha animators with so much talent but yet not getting enough attention)Gacha is getting pretty toxic nowadays because of the number of toxic creators, thankfully there aren’t many nowadays but there are still a few toxic gacha tubers who people ignore. I still like gacha but…It’s not the same as before. But I’m glad small creator’s like you are here and I’m looking forward to your other videos :)
Honestly, I'm not surprised. This is most sensitive community on whole internet! And even since beginning of "cancel culture" it looks to much like 13 century English village where everyone just waits for somebody to do something wrong or "wrong" and when it happens they will never give you another chance and will always keep reminding you of that. Some of them make channels just to hate others (they call themselves "gacha ranters"). And some of them even go that far to expect "toxic creators" (overused common name for creators of content which they don't like) to apologize to them for having different taste!
I agree, but ima have to stop you right there on the forgiving part- This community is a little too forgiving overall. Like the stuff that happened with Vinn is kind of off.. and some toxic creators (people think they copy others ocs) when they’re usually just being creative, so I do get your point here 👍🏾
@Warkiyaa As somebody who grew up in Balkans, Vinn would be considered as nice person here. His dark humor is nothing compared to jokes we normally tell about each-others when we meet. Hereby, I hope you understand why all that sensitivity is so non-relatable to me
Same, I might start posting videos again soon. But so far my motivation and mental health has been all over the place this year. So it's tough to say whether I'll actually start posting soon again or not.
Yeah, i have also fortunately or unfortunately seen the downfall of gacha over the past couple of months. My main piece of evidence is the lack of gacha videos on my recommendations, tho i'm still in the community.
this is so true. it actually sad, because our community is basically split. like, i miss those times when people would make gacha just for fun and short videos. I hate most of new trends cuz they're almost always based on sexual tension as if there ain't so many other topics to make a new trend, like seriously.
I agree, it’s been hard to find anything to make me want to post (motivation, ideas, etc.) because the community isn’t as active as it once was. And with the ideas I already have, it takes time to put them in action.
I've been a gacha enjoyer since 2019. I wanted to become a youtuber to post gacha related things. Now I grew up, and ended not liking it as much. Please. To those who still love gacha. Don't give up. I know it had became kinda toxic and bad, but honestly, I still like having some gacha vids poping in my fyp. I still support you :)
Honestly I think the community is growing more and more, I’ve seen numerous small creators and big ones who come up with original video ideas and very advanced editing for example Jaq and lufxynika they’re editing styles have evolved or they are a new creator with that editing style. I think it may be due to the ones who normally watch trends, music videos, and mini movies who see it as a decrease since TH-cam accommodates to what you watch it will show you videos exactly like the ones you watch instead of the newer stuff
As someone who discovered gacha in 2020/2021, it used to be funny. I quit gacha community in 2023 and i am happy about it. Btw gacha didn’t exist in 2016 And luni got away with a lot of allegations. Like p3do, encouraging gacha heat and more.
Its literallly getting new trends every month, it has amazing animations, talenyed gachatubers and literally new uploads from different gachatubers every day. Its important to IGNORE the gacha heat and drama, and focus on the content and trends. So no, the gacha community is not dying and wont do for a long time ♡♡
0:39 let me stop you right there vinn is back and people still support him and say that he made a apology video and that is how they can forgive him just like that💀
@ he is back and he has about four new TikTok and TikTok can’t do anything about it because he is not uploading that content anymore and he just says that people still support me. He’s only making those videos to make the ones that are forcing him to make them are shutting ing up so he can rest a little bit he left because he wanted to think about himself and people were not letting him do that. They said that they would cut them self and do things like that. So sorry this is so long.-.
@ also they would not let vinn quit at all so that’s why he came back and did all of those things because he wanted to hate on him about that because he was tired getting bothered- but yeah, it was crazy and the worst part is they ever knew that he was going to come back or not 😭
He's doing this for attention 😮💨 he know he's going to fall off hard one day so he going to make drama for clout he remind me of a gachatuber in the 2022 who were always with drama but fall off because people were tired of him and he wasn't that good anymore ignore him even if what he would do is bad just ignore him for the best of the community same for his " friend"
I feel like a huge part of the Gacha community is based on fandoms like mha, fnaf etc but it’s slowing dying but still active fandoms, there are also smaller fandoms like Hazbin, nimona, gravity falls and stuff. Also it’s been a few years since the earlier Gacha games so it’s losing the popularity it had when it was all brand new. As a Gacha user Im thinking switching to Roblox as my main content focus now since there are a few more popular things in Roblox like doors, DTI and stuff.
**tsk** kinda feel bad for all of it , even more for those gachatubers who are giving up , leaving us , intoxicating the community , etc . . . But , no worries ! I did a BR fandub of ur video , but it's not REALLY much of a fandub and yes , another video to try rise up the community again , and my dream is having 1k or 500 followers ! Hope u understand me :3
Honestly, I've noticed some of my online friends haven't posting daily because of school and lost motivation. I'm still in the Gacha community to post my Gacha videos. And many of my old subscribers/fans already quitted and deleted their channel. Also, they stopped posting after the drama. Toxic GachaTubers stopped posting when someone is ranting on them so they would escape from them. But, they never forget. Many toxic GachaTubers came back like nothing happened. Honestly, I miss old good days of Gacha. Old good days of Gacha are better than now. There are some new Gacha trends. This is why I keep posting Gacha videos.
The Gacha community is more built on fandom creators aswell as mini movie creators now, so much content gets produced from those sides of the Gacha community currently rather than short form edits etc
As someone whos been here and there in the gacha community since Gacha Studio was new, this definitely has been the quietest the community has been since the beginning, I miss the 2016-2019 era because that was the most alive and creative we were back then to now, these days in this community is the most uncreative and quiet, most trends are based off of everything else and not our own thing like it used to be, and even though it's less problematic, its a bad trade off in the way i see it, because back then, we just ignored the bad people after addressing them
I know the Gacha community’s been feeling a bit quiet lately, but if you're into stories with supernatural powers, revenge, and a bit of mystery, I’ve got something you might enjoy. My new series is called “Overtake you” follows Reyna, a girl with powers, trying to get back at the woman who experimented on her and her friends. Along the way, there’s a dangerous drug that gives people abilities-whether they’re born with them or not. If you’re into a mix of action, drama, and a deeper storyline, feel free to check it out. I’m a small gacha tuber and I really think that my story can change people’s view on this days gacha community. It’s a unique plot, I’ve only got 2 episodes out right now but they’re about 10 minutes each!❤
I used to watch glmm vids in 2019 when i was late 7, now im 13 and everything has gown down hill. There is only trends now and everything is so dirty....
The drama is making the gacha community died honestly but literally the best gacha tubers who have made amazing videos are literally problamatic and influences other snd others are growing up and the trends are honestly dying down or repetitive
Real, as a small gachatuber, it’s been a bit hard. (I’ve had multiple accounts during the years, and I can say that, in the past, getting subs or making trends was much easier rather than just,, yeah..) Due to this ‘downfall’, I mostly learned to stick to the art community, or trying to create as much content as possible for the people who subbed to me rather than trying to reach a bigger audience(since I’ll fail) idk ab the drama.. but motivation is a big thing here since even the smallest videos take time- and since Gacha has always been ‘hated’ by other communities, it’s just hard to post without getting hate. Making people actually get invested in your ocs is HARD, but even people who make characters based of multiple games flop. Ever since I came back (like 6 months ago), I’ve never found a trend that actually made me invested in. Maybe only the ‘dare’ one that Hantsuko (idk if that’s her name) made. Except that, I mostly stick to art trends or old gacha trend lowkey, exceptions exist obviously.. SORRY FOR THE YAP I JUST RLLY LIKED YOUR VIDEO AND RELATED TO IT!! - it’s the honest truth
this might not be too related to the video but also the “sigma” kids think gacha is cringe and it’s spreading to other peoples brains so that’s also probably why the gacha community decreased
i make gacha videos too, but i’ve slowly been getting bored of making them because well… what’s the point if no one is even gonna see ‘em. i’ve been trying to do more things with my art skills, but i still can’t help going back to making gacha videos. I’ve been in this community since the beginning really. I’ve seen the singing battles, i’ve seen the hated child becomes a princess, i’ve seen it all. But now? Its not the same anymore
i'm a small gachatuber, and i'm honestly somehow still alive in this community, i post og videos with popular audios mainly in hopes of a trend coming up, and at this point, most fandom videos are just reaction, you never see any original content and manly loved creators are gone, at this point, i just want the community to come back up again like in 2016-2018 when i first joined but didnt post
As a new gachatuber as I just started this year I agree that it is hard to grow because not many people are gonna watch but I’ve seen many trends in the gacha community and some of them are quite old so sometimes I’ll try to be creative but most of the time it’s just remaking the trend
Ive noticed for a year or 2 now but I still started a channel 😭🙏 I remember loving gl music videos or whatever and i can finally after all these years finally start and I wanna make sure to share some of my stories before i regret it since i might not last long 😕 I honestly think as long as we support each other we can eventually grow and actually shed some creativity (and longer attention spans) on everyone 😁
Uh... I disagree. Maybe the trends, memes and stuff like that yes. But the gacha reaction videos and most of the glmm/gcmv are okay and doing great. But even so I still disagree. The gacha community is NOT dying. Yes there are so many dramas and stuff but at the end of the day we are still here arent we? We wont be going anywhere for a long time. Trust me.
I don’t think it is really dying, it is just harder to be a creator on TH-camr since there are many new creators joining and aiming to be a TH-camr also. Some growing quickly while others just have a harder time growing and cause of that, most people just give up on being a TH-camr or life is too busy that they can’t continue doing TH-cam. I’ve been seeing other type of creators struggling getting views too which is why people would always join trends or do videos on what is currently popular. Pretty sure the same thing may be happening on other platforms also.
It's mainly because everyone already has established friend groups and every oc looks the exact same so creativity left the community back in 2018 The downfall started WAY back in 2020/2021 with the tiktok memes and sudden rise in bl content Also we have to consider the fact around 4 popular adult gachatubers/tokers were exposed as pedophiles since 2021,nobody really wants to play a game where creeps are hiding behind a screen
I feel like if people actually tried to be creative and make videos longer than 2 minutes with a plot that wasnt a vanilla highschool romance this community would be a lot cooler!!!
I feel like , the people that have most of the videos with good edits, they have more followers and stuff but like some people like me that have a small account, they deserve more followers and more likes and in youtube too
I’ve been thinking about making gotcha videos, but I don’t know how to make them move/talk and you know how to make a video about it 😭 I’m still learning
All things come to an end eventually it'll go full circle something just like gacha will come out eventually and things will upturn but it really does seem well past time for a complete reset and restart. We've finished the game now its tim to guve someone else the controller so they can start a 'new game'. If it truly will be the end of such a bumpy story then as someone whos been here since around this community about 6 years i would like to say its been fun and I can't wait to see what's next!
I restarted my gacha channel in 2022 which gave me a head start but now 2024 isn't looking good my hopes for 2025 isn't good neither so yeah they now use these as a trend so it's more likely this community became increasingly more toxic so there is no way we could back up
I'm sure it will rise back 😭🫶 and honestly there really isn't much drama anymore which is awesome :DD once more trends come out it most likely will rise more >:DD
Yeah I'm with @cozyclochlo on this one it feels like most gotcha trainers and animes or thriving and surviving off of trend and stuff like that like they will literally take social like TikTok dance trends and animate them don't give me wrong they're good animators they don't need trends they survive with their own ideas like @MayorMoqa and without no updates it feels like Lunime at this point it's just ignoring us cause every time we release the game it feels like he just evaporates out of thin air I think this might be a downfall for the gacha community and it kind of feels like the Gacha community is dying at this point cause all it is is just trends and to be honest I like Gacha animation videos to go to my liked playlist and dance to it:(
As somone who is just coming back to the gacha community after 2019 (still geting the hang of things again) I to see this something good. Maybe gacha heat will start to disappear.
I haven’t posted any gacha videos due to the fact that there was so much drama in the community as well as the fact I lack motivation due to mental health problems, but now that things have calmed down a bit, I’m thinking of possibly coming back, just not sure how considering I have no editing skills whatsoever despite being in this community since gacha studio came out
I'm actually still making gacha videos -v-"""" and though there are lots of gacha trends out there I always becareful which one I should pick, whether it's old or new as I my channel focuses on staying kid friendly and some even having lessons ^^ Whenever I do decide to do a trend, I first check on the content of the trend itself.... If it's not good then either I don't do it or I do it but I change the content into something nicer. For instance, the Money money money trend, I've noticed that the trend doesn't match the actual meaning of the song/ the message the song was trying to convey..... So, instead of doing the usual content of it, I would change it where it would show the viewers how they shouldn't let money control their decisions and actions..... Letting them fall into greed..... Or any negative part of it.... Aka the actual message of the song..... I haven't made the vid yet, but it's one of the future videos I plan making when I have time. Oh and note I'm collage now and yes I still make videos.
I gotta say, I agree with this. I almost lost 300 subs in a month and it keeps going. My views are running low and I lose so many supporters. Less gachatubers upload and if they do, MAX. VIEWS OF 10K-20K! Even my friends who are small creators just quit or stop posting because of this... it's pretty sad... i hope you'll get more subs, i'm one of them❤ Written by: Gachatuber Bat_wolf2.0

New sub btw
@Rosemarys-Gacha thank you so much for subscribing! I might be back to post more rants
@@Zokaryu And I'll be here for it :3
@ thank you!

Losing motivation is sooo true, I haven't posted a new video in months.
TMF is the only good thing we currently have, thank god (and Mother Rosy) that season 2 is coming up
I agree, it’s been hard to find anything to make me want to post (motivation, ideas, etc.) because the community isn’t as active as it once was. And with the ideas I already have, it takes time to put them in action.
I started gacha as 14yrs old and now im 18 and i decided to make gacha again cuz it was fun to make series out of it
Many do forget that with creators they will grow out of the community, that is a very good point that we will raise again and completely agree
Our community is dying and i hope it doesnt go away forever.
Btw gacha didn’t exist in 2016
And luni got away with a lot of allegations. Like p3do, encouraging gacha heat and more.
I've been here since the start and I agree, the gacha community resets after it has its downfalls, it's happened before, it'll happen now.
Its literallly getting new trends every month, it has amazing animations, talenyed gachatubers and literally new uploads from different gachatubers every day. Its important to IGNORE the gacha heat and drama, and focus on the content and trends. So no, the gacha community is not dying and wont do for a long time ♡♡
dawg this community is NOT dead there’s been so much activity, it’s still alive 😭💀
@@KeiraSamson it’s been somewhat going down, its probably because you’ve been on tiktok
@ ive been on youtube but have heard some of the drama
As a small GachaTuber, I completely agree. It fells like the Gacha community is slowly dying.
0:39 let me stop you right there vinn is back and people still support him and say that he made a apology video and that is how they can forgive him just like that💀
@@coffee_fox-g6n wait a minute THIS HAPPENED? (Sorry I don’t have TikTok and I haven’t seen many rants 😭)
@@coffee_fox-g6n oh my god this community is TOO MUCH
@ also they would not let vinn quit at all so that’s why he came back and did all of those things because he wanted to hate on him about that because he was tired getting bothered- but yeah, it was crazy and the worst part is they ever knew that he was going to come back or not 😭
He's doing this for attention 😮💨 he know he's going to fall off hard one day so he going to make drama for clout he remind me of a gachatuber in the 2022 who were always with drama but fall off because people were tired of him and he wasn't that good anymore ignore him even if what he would do is bad just ignore him for the best of the community same for his " friend"
As a very small gachatuber with 59 subs, i Will still support the gacha community, no matter what, i will always love it and never abandon it
The Gacha community is more built on fandom creators aswell as mini movie creators now, so much content gets produced from those sides of the Gacha community currently rather than short form edits etc
This is true, there are no good trends, so gacha is dying☹️ And the trends we have now are not kids friendly😮💨
True, I have realized this, I didn't really care but if it got refreshed we could make it cooler
As a gacha fnaf fan, we will take over. Watch matpat. Play fnaf. Make afton videos. One of us. I always come back. One of us.
As someone whos been here and there in the gacha community since Gacha Studio was new, this definitely has been the quietest the community has been since the beginning, I miss the 2016-2019 era because that was the most alive and creative we were back then to now, these days in this community is the most uncreative and quiet, most trends are based off of everything else and not our own thing like it used to be, and even though it's less problematic, its a bad trade off in the way i see it, because back then, we just ignored the bad people after addressing them
Or maybe bcz the vinn drama etc.. ive lost alot of motivation when vinn left kuz he was my 1# idol but recovered from it with the support of my fans❤
u right, people were talking about the community dying like 4 years ago and then it started up again, we gon be alright
I’ve just grown out of it, I realised that this isn’t really what I wanna do..
Even if it is dying I'm still gonna make gacha stories, with my own original ideas.
yeah me too but gacha pets animated but never worked only 2022 worked
this might not be too related to the video but also the “sigma” kids think gacha is cringe and it’s spreading to other peoples brains so that’s also probably why the gacha community decreased
i make gacha videos too, but i’ve slowly been getting bored of making them because well… what’s the point if no one is even gonna see ‘em.
i’ve been trying to do more things with my art skills, but i still can’t help going back to making gacha videos. I’ve been in this community since the beginning really. I’ve seen the singing battles, i’ve seen the hated child becomes a princess, i’ve seen it all. But now? Its not the same anymore
I used to post gacha videos often, but now it's only a few times a month. I agree with everything you've said in this video.
i'm a small gachatuber, and i'm honestly somehow still alive in this community, i post og videos with popular audios mainly in hopes of a trend coming up, and at this point, most fandom videos are just reaction, you never see any original content and manly loved creators are gone, at this point, i just want the community to come back up again like in 2016-2018 when i first joined but didnt post
As a small Gachatuber, I don't care if it's dying, I will continue staying in the community, doing what i love, nothing will stop me from doing this
um what do you mean what if you grow up? what's the point what if you were at the college part
@harry_jluck I'm talking about the community dying, not about college life.
Nowadays Orginal Long videos are hard to attract views then shorts tbh
As a gacha tuber, I try make my videos as og as possible and i spend hours making the animations sometimes and i barely get any recognition
I've been in the gacha community like since between 2016-2017, and I have been seen all of the dramas that have happened throughout the years 😭
It didn't exist in 2016 wdym 💀💀
As a small gacha community I agree!! There is less memes etc
This makes me so sad I joined the Gacha community in April - may this year
I feel like people have been saying “it’s dying” or “it’s dead” for four years now ._.
I had a beloved Gacha friend and she went missing for 2 years since she quit in February 2022 and it's almost 3 years
Yeaaaa ig it really fells dry to me. And it just feels like all the motivation i had, its gone.
As a new gachatuber as I just started this year I agree that it is hard to grow because not many people are gonna watch but I’ve seen many trends in the gacha community and some of them are quite old so sometimes I’ll try to be creative but most of the time it’s just remaking the trend
Ive noticed for a year or 2 now but I still started a channel 😭🙏 I remember loving gl music videos or whatever and i can finally after all these years finally start and I wanna make sure to share some of my stories before i regret it since i might not last long 😕
I honestly think as long as we support each other we can eventually grow and actually shed some creativity (and longer attention spans) on everyone 😁
Uh... Trust me.
@@BeamXD. I like that you shared your opinion, at least it’s not actually dying 😭
The worst part is that I have had a main Gacha channel since 2019-2020Around 2020 I started to gain in viewership but not anymore I'm falling
Honestly i feel like most peiple are just relying on specific series or content from specific characters to watch Gacha (TMF S2) For example.
It's mainly because everyone already has established friend groups and every oc looks the exact same so creativity left the community back in 2018
The downfall started WAY back in 2020/2021 with the tiktok memes and sudden rise in bl content
Also we have to consider the fact around 4 popular adult gachatubers/tokers were exposed as pedophiles since 2021,nobody really wants to play a game where creeps are hiding behind a screen
I feel like if people actually tried to be creative and make videos longer than 2 minutes with a plot that wasnt a vanilla highschool romance this community would be a lot cooler!!!
I feel like , the people that have most of the videos with good edits, they have more followers and stuff but like some people like me that have a small account, they deserve more followers and more likes and in youtube too
Fr I’m living off remakes of old memes and stuff😭😭
SAME 😭😭😭
I agree with you abt the gacha community dying and it's bc of ppl using it for the wrong things
Yeah to be honest. The trends nowadays are disgusting too.
I’ve been thinking about making gotcha videos, but I don’t know how to make them move/talk and you know how to make a video about it 😭 I’m still learning
You can take screenshots or tween
@ Okie
@ don’t know how to tween so
All things come to an end eventually it'll go full circle something just like gacha will come out eventually and things will upturn but it really does seem well past time for a complete reset and restart.
I started drifting away after gacha tubers I looked up to were getting exposed for gross shit
As a former gachatuber. I have quit to show my art instead...
I haven’t posted any gacha videos due to the fact that there was so much drama in the community as well as the fact I lack motivation due to mental health problems, but now that things have calmed down a bit, I’m thinking of possibly coming back, just not sure how considering I have no editing skills whatsoever despite being in this community since gacha studio came out
I think this is every community. Dude litterally I’ve seen videos for every community
I'm actually still making gacha videos -v-"""" and though there are lots of gacha trends out there I always becareful which one I should pick, whether it's old or new as I my channel focuses on staying kid friendly and some even having lessons ^^
Whenever I do decide to do a trend, I first check on the content of the trend itself....
Oh and note I'm collage now and yes I still make videos.
this is why i switched to the bsd gacha community
The vid w the title dad in the thumbnail is disgusting, i forgor the channel but badically his friend is dating his dad like ew
I gotta say, I agree with this. I almost lost 300 subs in a month and it keeps going. My views are running low and I lose so many supporters. Less gachatubers upload and if they do, MAX. VIEWS OF 10K-20K! Even my friends who are small creators just quit or stop posting because of this... it's pretty sad... i hope you'll get more subs, i'm one of them❤

tbh, i think people are js growing up now and dont use gacha anymore. I used to watch and play gacha all the time from 2017 - 2022, but eventually grew out of it. I occasionally watch gacha videos here and there (like this one!) but its not the same as it once was
