My father was a big Thunderbirds fan, Captain Scarlet too. He brought me and my sister when we were eight years old to see this, thinking it would be like those. Suffice to say it wasn’t, but we stayed for the whole thing.

Was in the passion of the Jew episode (mel gibson), the Montage song from the Asspen episode, and I'm sure some others I cant think of off of the top of my head. I personally love these inclusions, make me laugh all the same!
I knew this movie would be good when they took Sean Penn to the virtual wood shed with the "Rivers of Chocolate" speech that makes Iraq under Saddam sound like Candy Land.

I live in the Denver area and have been waiting for a chance to go there - I'm sure there's going to be at least some South Park, and probably other movies they've done, references in there now. I'm just hoping they'll be subtle funny easter-eggs rather than way too over the top.

You know I learned about this movie in this documentary called This Film Is Not Yet Rated which is all about the MPAA, the company that rates movies. Matt and Trey actually had to fight for this movie to get an R rating and not an X rating which is significant because if it did get an X rating then it could never have been shown on TV or in theaters.

When I saw this in theaters, there was an elderly couple there that looked to be nearing 80 years old or older. They looked absolutely SHOCKED the entire film, and not laughing at all. Near the end of the film when he's giving the speech about "d--ks f--k p-----s but also f--k a-holes," I looked over and saw the old lady covering her ears, and the husband looking furious. Eventually, they just got up & walked out. I have no idea what kind of movie they thought this was going to be, but boy did they look MAD when that speech was going on 😂
Been watching Honest Trailers since around 2007. Gotta say this is the first time they’ve done a film that really didn’t need it. Just go and watch the film. Team America is an absolute classic.
This movie was so good. It made me laugh first time since I lost my father. Then I found out that it was incredibly hard to make it, and they didn't make profit. So I just wanna thank them for taking one for the team.
Cannibal the Musical is so great. At the end of every South Park episode, they play a little tune and show a logo with an airplane. That tune is "The sky is blue" from cannibal the musical

Captain Scarlet and Thunderbirds. I think I caught them in TV during the 70s. For the longest time (due to airing reasons) I thought the two were the same show. Should have known better since one's shout out was, "S.I.G!" while the other one was, "Thunderbirds are GO!"

The best thing about this film was accurating naming the Film Actors Guild 😂
My dad bought this to me when I was a kid, he thought it was just a cartoon or kids show 😂😂😂 can still remember the look of horror on his face when he saw what it was about
I wouldn’t say that the humor is dated, it’s still an amazing watch

The only take away from this movie bigger than the Matt Damon joke is the theme song for this movie being used for Captain America tribute vids.

I already watched that movie four times and after watching this honest trailer, I feel like watching Team America again. What a legendary comedy!
I've always wondered if they came up with the "Matt Damon" routine because otherwise no one could tell who that puppet was supposed to be.
Apparently they meant for him to be like the other celebrity characters but the puppet unintentionally came out looking kinda dim, so they just went with it.
Matt Damon's only regret is that they didn't ask him to voice the Matt Damon puppet.
Ok, but that vomit scene has got to be the best vomit scene committed to film
