Thank you for the video! The measurements are quite usefuI. Had chuckled when you took the ruler to mark the paper then cut it with scissors! The metal rulers act great as a straight edge to just tear the paper against without the two extra steps. :) As a note one of the things some other have done if you have problems with it unrolling is: 1. Cut the strip but make a bit wider than normal (3.5 inches) 2. Crease at least a half inch line along the top long edge before rolling. 3. Roll 4. Fold bottom into the middle and press the bottom 5. Fold the top towards the middle down until the crease, and it holds the tops together and reinforces it
Good point about the paper tearing. You always look back at what you do and wonder why you did it that way. All the tops will be great for others. Thank you!😊👍
Thanks Glyn. I've now moved all the talking to the end as people can then switch off if they like. There will still be some talking through the videos as I think at times it's important to pass on your thoughts. This being a quick project just worked so well with everything sped up. All done with the one GoPro camera which is so much easier to work with.
Thanks Steve. It is people like you that we all inspire to with your skill. This was a quick project and production is not always easy. This time it just clicked as no talking was required with it being a mid-week quick project,
Hey, congrats for the three hundred subs. and your pot seed maker or whatevever that is😎 (never heard about it), a beautiful thing. Was glad to see you again this weekend. Júlíus
Hi Julius. A big thank you as per usual. Just amazed by the numbers, especially since I'm still so new to this game. There will be another couple of quick videos go up later in the week from the two short sessions I had this weekend. Check out Steve from the link, if you want to learn the skew he is the one to admire.
Paul Lockwood Hi. One problem there, I to not use Facebook or such media (paranoid my frend 😨) never got used to thea idea and to old to begin now. But I look forwart for your next vodeos cheers for now
Thanks Ian. From working them out from Steve's video I think it came out pretty well. Just some minor dimensional changes I would make, but still pleased with it. Being Oak it has a good weight to it.
Thanks Mike. Did enjoy this. As to filming it's hard to decide on what talking to have and what not to have. I know everyone has their own tastes but at the same time it's is nice to have the thought process in as the project goes along.
Nice project, well presented. I want to plant a vegetable garden next year so this is now high on my to do list. Thanks for posting.
Thank you Phil.
