Edges is the “edge” of real hair or what we usually call “baby hair” by the hairline that some women who wear wigs blend with their wig so it would look natural.
Some women lose their edges bc of baldness usually caused by the adhesive that comes with using wigs or hair products like straighteners or tight hairstyles that are popular in the culture of people of color. Repeated wig or straightener use could make one lose their edges.
