  • This video is a mixture of my experience on the Camino de Santiago, official advice and my thoughts about what might be best in practice.

Thanks your for your advices. Actually temperatures from 48 degree celcius and over are an instant kill for beg bugs. Less temp would take longer to get rid of them.

We did Camino Frances last year and got bed bugs TWICE, two weeks apart. Had to throw away everything we had and buy new shoes. Very expensive

      Thanks.
Well done for being the first person on the channel to comment.
All of these videos used to be on the main Count Everything channel, but I moved them onto the channel when I started making videos about climate change and the TH-cam algorithm couldn't cope.

Great advice. Are bed bugs super common in albergues?

Bed bugs are an issue in albergues, but at least they are design to try to reduce the problem. Hotels have the same risks, but have all the soft furnishings and furniture that bed bugs like to live in.
