This is a compilation of footage I took on our road trip which we embarked on this September. We traveled west through Rocky Mountain House and explored there a bit. Then moved onto our original destination, Nordegg, and explored Coliseum Mountain. Nordegg and Rocky Mountain House, while perfectly fine on their own, were a little underwhelming compared to the Rockies.
We pressed further than planned and did not regret it. I had never been in this part of the Rockies before. We travelled Highway 11 and got some great footage of Abraham lake, which was the bluest lake I'd ever seen and cold AF. We passed by the trailhead for Siffleur Falls, and travelled through Saskatchewan River Crossing, then stopping and turning back at the park boundary of Banff National Park around the Icefields Parkway. While I got some decent footage, this video explores my mishaps trying to film in a car. Those specks you see are bugs on the windshield. Enjoy!
