- Ep. 312 - If you’ve ever spent hours, days, weeks…maybe even months going back and forth on feedback and revisions with web design clients…listen up.
It’s time to start productizing and systemizing parts of your business.
I’m making a personal commitment moving forward to help web designers get out of the vicious cycle of content collection, feedback trails, revision wheels and being a pixel pusher for your clients.
It’s time to build a web design business that you enjoy, that has proven systems in place and that gets your clients results. And there is perhaps no one better to learn from on how to do this than my good friend Jason Gracia, founder of swyftsites.com who has built an incredible, completely productized 7-figure (nearing multi-7-figure now) business that builds websites exclusively for online coaches.
I often look to Jason for business advice, niching, sales and closing but in this chat, he’s pulling the curtain back on exactly how he built and grew this amazing business so that you can productize parts or many parts of your web biz.
Can you imagine spending only 2-3 hours on a $4k website build?!? If you want to learn from someone who does just that, DO NOT miss this episode.

This was an incredible interview, thank you!! Question for Jason - would you ever share your sales call presentation slides? It would be amazing to learn from the master.
@JessDrenth you're in luck! Jason actually did a guest expert training in my community Web Designer Pro a while back with his sales presentation slides and is coming in again in May 2024 to expand on his productized system. Come join us! joshhall.co/pro
@@JoshHallco Sold! Thank you!!
crazy value here 🔥
the line - "wix, squarespace, etc are knife & we are chef" 💥
He said "chef" not "shape"
Biggest takeaway for sure!! Could've made that the title!!
Inspiring interview. Absolutely love the idea of partnering with a platform. Makes so much sense.
Thanks for the new video! I’m looking forward to seeing what other content you post! Always good to learn as much as you can!
Thank you for this great episode, Josh and Jason! I'm just getting into web design (moving out of an existing online business I've had for 10 years which is dying. I'm burnt out and need to do something else.
Productizing/systematizing makes so much sense. I feel like I stumble and spend way too much time trying to figure out how to set my web design up as a business.
I appreciate the work you do here Josh, this may be the time for me to take the leap and join Web Designer Pro.
@priceactiontradersinstitut585 I'd be happy to help you get past the overwhelm and burnout! Perfect timing too as my scaling course just went 100% live in Pro TODAY! That's the other aspect of freeing yourself up, automating or delegating as much as you can.
Current you can get a promo for Pro at joshhall.co/scale if you'd like to take advantage of the offer for Pro (limited time for anyone seeing this after the fact)
@@JoshHallco Thank you, I just joined Web Designer Pro!
Really awesome episode. There is a lot I need to reorganize and systemize. I am also a 15-year-old veteran in the business who has put off recording and putting in place SOPs to help save time. I wanted to ask Jason a question... how do you handle refunds? Especially if a client has been paying for a few months , does produce the content and now want to pull out ?
Totally understand putting off SOPs. I have been doing that for my own biz but I did a bunch as I'm creating my new Scaling Course and it feels SO GOOD to have my business out of my head and organized into systems. Highly recommend it.
You can leave a comment for Jason on the post at joshhall.co/312 and I'll make sure he sees it!
Yeah great question!
His sites can get conversions but how does they generate traffic since there is no seo?
Hey may have more lead generators but I know he runs FB ads and has some key coach referral partners who send a ton of biz his way.
Jason's doing a live training inside my community Web Designer Pro™ next month to share the ins and outs! Join us if you can so you can ask this directly!

@@JoshHallco For him yes. I meant how does his clients get traffic ?
Oh he doesn't do marketing for his clients. He sets lead generators up for his clients but doesn't do marketing for them. I'm sure he has some empowerment strategies for growth but I don't personally know how far he goes into that. You're welcome to post a comment here and he might fill ya in: joshhall.co/312-how-jason-gracia-built-a-7-figure-productized-web-design-business/
Does Jason not have a subscription/recurring revenue in his package, why not?
Correct - he does not. He answered a similar question in the comments here if you'd like to check that out: joshhall.co/312
You can 100% add a subscription plan to this model or just do hosting/maintenance for recurring revenue though for sure!
Great thanks! Any chance you can do an interview or a topic on various website subscription tiers/models and recurring revenues, etc.?@@JoshHallco
