@@valanco1854well to get HID keyboard option you need to have your external keyboard plugged in, hope that helps!
You can use external keyboard without disabling the one on the laptop

I am doing the same step but after restarting the pc, standard ps2 keyboard driver gets reinstall again
than detach the keyboard
