I really appreciate that you show how you sketch, rather than just start with a sketch already done. It is a good reminder that sketching takes time, error, erasing, figuring,…patience. So many people start with their sketch and then offer it to download. People are really missing out on learning to sketch themselves. That is a HUGE skill!
I'm not so good at drawing, I always enjoy the painting process more. I had to learn my way passed it, so others could hopefully get passed the fear of sketching on an empty space as well :)
I really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful little painting! I’m a new subscriber, so I’m having a great time watching your other videos. Thank you for sharing your work with us.
😍💐 This was the cutest flower shop!! I wanted to enter and buy some flowers! 🤭 Small, whimsical buildings are certainly a joy to paint! 😉👍 It is wonderful that you share the whole drawing to painting process, it really helps, and also how you explain the hows and whys! 🙏 Loved how this painting goes beyond the page, too! Thank you, Nia!!🤗👏👏👏🥰😘
It's amazing how much detail you can fit into a very small space! Although I can't make this happen yet, I learn quite a bit from listening to you explaining why you are doing what you are doing, and much gratitude to you for your gift to us!
Gosh, I just love this little masterpiece 💕. What takes you just a bit of time would take me a week or longer. Thank you & please keep sharing your talent with us ⚘️.
I am trying to recreate this at the moment. I did the sketch on Saturday, the flowers on Sunday, and the greenery today, on Monday. Mine will look about a third as nice as the original. BUT I am learning so much in the process!
I just bought a set of filbert brushes! I just love how you turn it to get different shapes and textures. It's such a delight to watch you paint and keep working to discover my own style while building skills. Thank you!
Thanks! I don't really paint in large scales to reduce the production time of my videos, I do try to paint at a sligtly bigger scale for Skillshare though :)
Beautiful painting! I always make one off florals but have never attempted a scene. How do you choose what to paint first? So confusing, I’m scared! Any tips would help, tysm ❤
Whatever is in front is easier for me to paint first, so I don't have to guess how much space I should leave, when painting the objects placed at the back :)
No need for expensive watercolours 🙂 I used to start with sets like koi or pentel. They come in sets of a few colours already (more than just the primaries), very affordable and works as well
Hi! Thanks for your input, unfortunately, music is part of the channel, because I tend to get more comments of people enjoying them... If this changes in the future and the vast majority prefers the tutorials without music, I'll take it into consideration :)

Your voice is good. You’re a good teacher. Music is unnecessary and distracting.
