Hi there. Here’s my issue. My mic is working just fine when using it with regular call i can hear the other line vice versa clearly. But when I use other apps like messenger,line,viber the other line cant seem to hear me.

Wow you are truly amazing. My microphone would not work for dictating texts while connected to Android auto and after four stopping it and reconnecting the cable let's just say I'm actually dictating all this through it so thank you so much as I work on the road. God bless you!
Guys, if these tips still don't work, do the following. Turn off your cell phone screen but don't turn off the device, disconnect your earphones from your cell phone, press the button on your earphones where the microphone is located and insert it back into the device with the button pressed, with the button still pressed turn on the device's screen again, after turning on the screen you can release the microphone button and it will be working.
In my phone it was dirt stuck in the microphone (tiny hole like sim ejector at the bottom of every phone). I cleaned it and its working😂. At starting when i was clearning it, nothing happen. But after few time cleaning again and again it started working. Note : be gentle don't apply to much force. I hope it may be helpful to someone, thax.
Hi there, the thing is.. with the tests available on the secret test manu accessible via the phone app, the mic works absolutely well. But when trying them normally with calls and the recorder app.. it didn't work. But the fact that it works just fine with the tests tells me that it is not a hardware issue.

Awesome and helpful in my case...i just had to unplug my earbuds and then voice recognition worked on all the apps which were already "ENABLED". It had been working yesterday fine, but when the ear buds were plugged in today the mic. wasn't working. Such a simple fix.
Not too sure about this. Says that if I "Force Stop" on the phone app it will clear all cache and data. What does this mean? What happens to contacts stored in the phone record, call history and messages?

When I go to enable or disable my microphone access for an app it only gives me the option to deny, ask everytime or allow while in use. When I set it to allow while in use it still gives me a message to check my permissions. It doesn't give me the allow or deny option. I'm sure you're tired of answering any more questions but what can I do??

Everybody is wrong about this Samsung mic issue the problem is with the Samsung phone is that you got to keep the phone at least a foot away from your mouth when you're speaking otherwise the mic breaks up and people can hear you

On my Samsung Galaxy A03 the recorder sound cuts off half way through all videos I talk on after phone updated. Updates are causes sounds to turn off half way through video.

Hi, I am boult loop wired earphones on Samsung A30 but the microphone is not working but it working on different devices at my home.. so I tried clearing data of PHONE in settings then it started working for some hours and then again it's not working.. I tried different earphone and it's working.. Basically my earphones and mobile both are working but in some way not supporting? Any solutions??

here's my issue. the mic icon is present in the messages app, gmail keyboard, etc. when i tap it, the icon lights up but then it goes right back to 'tap to speak" i think there was a recent google or android a52 update and now the mic input doesnt work anywhere. this is the mic input for swype dragon keypad, been using it for years. reinstalled the app, still doesn't work.

The new software update from Samsung screwed everyone's mic so looks like we are gonna have to wait for the next update. Whenever that is

I had to install google dialer for other people to hear the phone, worked for me, hope this helps out others.

Nothing worked. There was a Samsung update installed, then I signed onto to my zoom mtg. I can hear everyone else but they can't hear me
