Its funny that you mention Tera Blast as a tool to use Terastalization as it wasnt "intended", when... You know, tera blast was created to use it the mechanic offensively lol. If they didnt wish for it to be used offensively, tera blast wouldn't even exist

@@mochagotcha which is a niche use as you well pointed out in your video, I'm more on the "some Pokemon need Tera Blast to function, therefore I'm always more careful with those ones" mentality instead. I think tera is helpful and fun as a mechanic opposed to dynamax

@PreciousLuna1988 It feels a bit extreme though, the amount of times Tera Blast has made a Pokemon debatably bannable is insane. It's not just that it's almost as twice as strong as Hidden Power, it's also incredibly unpredictable (main reason Volcarona got banned, could viably run over 5 Tera types that can end the game on the spot.). People have also yelled for a Kingambit ban earlier on. It's also pretty unhealthy in generally, Pokemon balanced by their coverage/common checks can break out of control, nothing feels like a reliable check at that point.
@@lovelyluna733 on top of that, a lot of electric types are reduced to just boltbeam mules with Tera Blast Ice acting as a very powerful nuke. Reduces the identities of certain pokemon to “boltbeam mon that looks cool”
