This song makes me think of exhausted soldiers after fighting a long war. I think of all the loses and when the upbeat part comes in, I think of hope for the future.
Sturm: Well they finally beat me. But surely it took Orange Stars greatest CO. Andy: Hey your the guy i beat, maybe you can tell me what an airport is! Sturm: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
*Grit and Eagle enter the room.* "Like we didn't do anything," Eagle muses, because he's the REAL hero..." Grit shoots a glance at the pilot. "Say nothin', kid," he throws in. "We'll give him a little credit..."
My first work experience was a seasonal job in a printing house, my old GBA SP was my companion in Milan’s busy transport system. This song is taking me back to a specific subway station were I finally ended the game, enjoying the ending credits while missing my train. Almost two decades are passed but I can still hear this song in my head every time I’m in that station.
I used to turn on my Gameboy and go into the sound room just to play this on my speakers. 😅 Who else is here because Re-Boot Camp decided to remove the best ending theme? 😢
Advance Wars 2 was the first game in the series that I played, and to this day it remains my favorite. Dual Strike had a lot of neat features, but Black Hole Rising had the perfect level of challenge. I only made it halfway through Days of Ruin/Dark Conflict. This is the perfect theme for a nostalgic look back at this series. God, I'd kill for a new installment.
Man that Gnarly ass death ray!!! I always wished you could place those and the other black cannons/minicannons/lasers in design maps...would have made things so much more interesting....
I absolutely love this song. It took me a year and a half to beat this game when I was a kid. I still play it to this day, of course smartphones came in and changed everything, so there is an app that you can download if you guys ever want to play it again. My rate on DoR wasn't that good, they totally changed the whole way that its played. But much love for this song
Somehow it reminds me of the song that played during the staff roll of Super Mario 64. A very melancolic song. It makes me want to cry and thats not because of nostalgia (I had not this game, only got it when I was a teen)
Since ancient times conflict has raged on. It is simply what we do. We remember those who came before, and push on in their memory and honor. It is not glorious. It is not pretty. It is not fun. It is however necessary. Today one conflict has been resolved by our hand. With this in mind, we set our sights to the future. A peaceful and better tomorrow that we fought so hard for today. It might be just a dream but for now rest easy gentlemen. We will remain vigilant for the next conflict, for you have already passed on the torch. Rest now, and thank you. You will be remembered. Me to all the poor infantry I lost to super CO power shenanigans.

Sonja: *sigh* He still has so much to learn. What a pity.
Jess: At least he's got the right attitude. Motivation is key to victory.

I cant believe they got rid of this theme in advance wars reboot camp 😢
spongebob fish >THEY WHAT?!?!
I would just listen to this song over and over again. Its absolutely superb.
makes me feel like a war hero. and i just played this video game. awesome soundtrack for a handheld game in that era.
It's epic, but a lot darker. I love fooling around with the map editor and the CO unit mechanic to create a storyline with custom maps.
I also bother my friends, so they would play them x)
mess around with the co unit mechanic?
great song didn't think i would ever hear it again...
I finish this game when i was 12. It was sooo hard. my brother pass me some missions, but I finished the game
Epiiiic that ending
Amazing music. Returns me back in time to childhood
This music is the most relaxing thing to hear after completing an essay.
Essay completed, mission accomplished. 👍

i never beat this game on hard mode T.T
Same.
Does anyone else know another adjective than "great" ? I think we're lacking vocabulary here.
Baller as fuck?
"Legendary"
Unforgettable and classic.
@Kratos0909 :P I'm not complaining :D
I earned 5,000 points just so I could buy the sound room and play this theme.
God imagine hearing this remixed after refinishing advance wars 1 and 2
SPOILERS
unfortunately I didn't heart it. Unless it's hard campaign exclusive now?
I didn't hear it either! I was looking forward to it ):
