On September 23, 2006; my grandfather passed away. Only a couple hours later; we learned that his last surviving sister passed away as well. In our hearts we know that he went and got her so she wouldn’t have to be alone on this earth.
It's been nearly 4 years since my mother died and it still hurts. I don't know if it will get easier, but I miss her everyday. I'm so sorry that Celine is dealing with this. At least she had many years together with her late husband.

Rene was the only man she ever loved....so sad for her loss. Completely understand that regardless of an illness, you are never prepared for the end. My mother died of cancer and when she finally died (I was just 20), I was devastated to say the least. I could not fathom it. You can never really prepare yourself for a loved one's death.
I've read that he just managed her career while she was going up and when she was 18 (I think), that's when their relationship turned into romance. She adored and loved him and he left his wife for her. Like I said, that's what I've read.
