I received the OS 12 update yesterday for my OnePlus 7T Pro. After installing the following issues were recorded.
The camera pop occurred once after the first call i received after the OS 12 update.
Second the AOD display the boost of brightness issue there. (Drains screen time battery)
The heating issue, initially after update when I kept charging the device was warm. But when the battery reached 90% the device was cool (guess it's normal). Then for every regular charge from 12%-95% the phone temperature was cool only for me.
Yes the fingerprint setting for private safe is there in settings to choose/allow if fingerprint is required to open a private safe (AppLock, hide apps and private safe)
Played 8-10 Arena matches of BGMI, phone is heated 44°. But when I played near the fan the phone was maintaining the temperature between 35-40°. 90FPS is not supported. During the match experienced many frame drops.
The apps when once hidden in app vault, we won't get notification from those apps which was not in the case of OS11. I had to unhide them to get notification from them. Also in app settings the hidden apps won't show for checking it's general settings. OS 12 makes sure the app is hidden in all terms, but i feel should not be the case with notification. For eg; i had to unhide WhatsApp to receive or to see missed notification.
It's better to uninstall/forget BGMI/PUBG in os 12 devices. Frame drop and gameplay is pathetic!

Does britness control work fine with fingerprint?
@@BLUE-uy3fb when fingerprint is asked, the brightness increases for you to scan the finger which is normal.
But when using AOD (always on display) there is an issue that shows when you double tap your device should wakeup, but it doesn't. It does when you LIFT the phone and at that time the brightness is increased to max for seconds until the fingerprint is scanned.
Didn't know if it will be resolved in any stable update we receive?
@@samcristopher447 hmmm i updated my 1907 to Android 12.1 i guess and it was having this weird issue when fingerprint lock is on after unlocking the britness was set to max and wasn't lowering down until you restart it
@@BLUE-uy3fb well that's new one. Till now i didn't have that issue where i have to restart the phone. Depending on work basis and device compatibility this issue is coming I guess.
Don't know why OnePlus is giving unstable updates by saying stable update.

1. No screen light when DND is on
2. Unable to delete screenshot from notification
3. No AI based quick features on chats from notification
4. Unable to paste phone number on dialer
5. Music notification doesn't go away even after closing app
6. Notification issue from apps
7. Unable to change app icon manually
8. App lock feature doens't work properly
9. App drawer can only be accessed from drawing on certain area on the home screen
10. Chat heads doens't work with WhatsApp and numerous apps
11. AOD doesn't work
