im so glad this level is back, when i first watched it my mom was extremely sick with ascites and we had to take her into the hospital and when i was waiting for my mom and dad i was scrolling through yt and saw ‘God Eater verified’ and i remember thinking it was the most badass level in existance (i still do) but ty knobbel for verifying it again

It’s actually easier because the lag is like a speedhack, but not actually. That’s how I got to 8% instead of only 2%. I literally got up to the drop in the music at 5% in the actual level. Also, if the lag is inconsistent (like choppy instead of at a constant slow speed), turn on smooth fix and force smooth fix in options, and if it’s not lagging, try it without LDM.
Looking back on the level, it makes so much sense. So many Terraria Vanilla and Modded references. To start with and the most obvious, the God Ea- er, I mean Divine Astral Creature, is a direct reference to DoG (Devourer of Gods aka God Eater). From 0:16 to 0:27, I can only assume that the creature is DoG. Also, the most obvious reference is in the previous showcase video where the actual boss itself, DoG, makes an appearance from where 1:05 to 1:08. Although as Knobbel said in the description, this was just the LDM. Another reference is from 0:31 to 0:45. Here, as you can see in the background, all 4 planets or moons from the celestial pillars are there. Purple for Nebula (Magic), Orange for Solar (Melee), Blue for Stardust (Summon), and Green for Vortex (Ranged). Also, the spot where DoG actually appears in the level is a reference to the Astral Infection, or for the ogs, Astral Meteor (R.I.P. Astrageldon Slime). Reply if u want me to add something else.
