The level with the yellow walls and fluorescent lights is considered level 0, and I think when you go in the alley, you get hit and no clipped out of reality, and that elevator was probably taking you to the Backrooms.

I’ve beaten this game in rec room 3 times today IN A ROW and here some usefull tips:
Tip #1: NEVER go to LVL “Fun” when you’re in the 1st level.
Tip #2: levels 9 - 10 have absolutely have NO entites and when you beat the game you will spawn next to a garage door. When you look at the top of the garage door it will say “Virtual Experience” or something then you see an elevator to your right. Go to the elevator and you will find yourself in the credits, you will see the maps youve beaten and the devs. Afterwards you will go to the winners room, when you are the winners room, you can take a picture of you at the end of the game and post in public then there will be a chance your poc will be posted on the wall.

Lvl 5 is harmless hard mode puts a monster in the basement called demonic fluff that if it gets you it teleports you to beginning of lvl 5

Why can't I even get to level one. I keep ending up in a place with bunch of beds and some tables in another room and can't get anywhere else
That sounds... Weird. So you can't get past level 0? I recommend watching a better walkthrough because I'm not entirely sure what you are referring to.
@@mosshivenetwork117 I ended up having to restart about 5 or so more times till it worked. After getting "kidnapped" your supposed to wakeup in that room to an alarm ringing

I’ve played this in vr for the first time and I screamed the loudest I ever l screamed before when I played level 1 and the paper mask came out of the garage

Apparently it is a monster that only spawns in the basement on the hotel level with red carpet. I also heard it can spawn on levels with no entities but it's extremely rare.
