I highly recommend you to read also the Church Fathers' commentaries on the Bible. Start with Saint John Chrysostom's commentaries (or homilies) on Genesis, on Exodus, on Leviticus and so on.
And, yes, Christianity is the true religion, the true faith. The Eastern Orthodox Church, brother, this is what you need. God bless!

This is the Friday when we lament over Christ's body in grave, and He is in hades claiming victory over Dead and taking Adam and Eve to His kingdom and all the righteous ones. The first two songs are sad but the third one not so much because victory already took place. Songs about his life, miracles, treason, unjust conviction from jews and mockin Dead....
