@@F50STMusic If you get CheatEngine at the official site, no it should be fine. It just looks suspicious to the virus scanner because it modifies memory addresses directly, like a virus would.

You messed up on the scan part. Might have typed a number wrong somewhere, or just somewhere on that part. Just try again, and check if you did what he did exactly right.

Exit the application? What do you mean by "stopping" it? If you mean stopping leveling up you just need to set your experience to a value lower than what your current rank needs to rank up, so a number around 50 would work.

If you can manage to get the hex address that corresponds to your character level then yes; however, the only easy way I know how to do that is to search for the value as your rank increases. Since you are the max level this is no longer possible. An alternative would be to make your own cheat engine table that searches for markers that pull the values you want to change so the address is pulled automatically without you having to search for it. This is quite complicated though so I would suggest you find guides that walk you through that process.
I'm not sure I haven't tried to do that. I have, however, modified the characters strength vale to above the maximum obtainable value to attain damages that are over 1000 points per hit.

tip for anyone doing this: 114000 is the most xp for one level you will ever need

Try installing a new version of Cheat Engine. Furthermore, make sure your "value type" is set to 4 bytes in Cheat Engine.

I’m not sure if you still respond to comments but every time I open the cheat engine it says: Error Runtime error (at 275:187): could not call proc.
Try to disable User Account Control (UAC) and run Cheat Engine as administrator.
