1st important thing is to grease every axel and bearing or even make sure that they are in good grease, but no you just put that front wheel axel straigth back without any grease :DDD
@@chartermitchell9217 I have a friend who contacted them and got a deal as he's rode yams for 6b years and they did him a deal with a yzf250 and a yz125 both 2019, he wouldn't tell me how he did it but he got a hood enough deal and he said he saved a lot of money
@Derbisenda yes you can, why else do you think it sounds like it does between 17:53 and 17:57? Then I shit in whether it's the second startup or the 20th start. My dirt bikes get a proper warm up before I give them full throttle and they don't sound like it does in the video, but you get to do what you want with your bikes, I don't care.
SwEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET. Doing that myself, too. Use the plug in the cylinder that it came with, get all the oil and crud out in the first hour, then change to the new plug in the bag. Oh, and have at least two beers when assembling.
I know a guy who bought a brand new 0 hour honda 250 4 stroke and before the warranty was out the valves stretched so bad it took the top end out .. he didn't worry because of the warranty but honda still gave him a hard time over it even though its the shitty valves they use that caused the issue
What kind of torque wrench do you recomend for wrenching dirt bikes? 5nm -25 covers most or do i need one for the fine stufff and one for the heavier stuff?
This is actually i am asking frequently.. why the ktm send the bike with exhaust attached on the machine and they give one extra exhaust too inside the box?? What happen with the stock? I mean that is the stock exhaust is functional?
best (300) and 2nd best (250) motorbike. and get your extra set of 17" to switch with some lilttle extras (big frontbrake) and adjustments (suspension) and you are the king of kings
Probably something to do with emissions, like the cheap pipe woth the wonky expansion chamber. It looked like a different plug in the side by side comparison.
What’s up with that pipe? Euro emissions? Looks more like a 125/150 pipe. Strange shape for a 250/300. Looks like it hangs down really low in the front.
A hint was to remove the stop switch. I saw keys attached to the handlebars. Do the new 2 stroke models have a keyed start for 2020? If not, how are you shutting the bike down?
For what you get from both ktm and husky bikes they are well worth the little extra over a Yamaha or Suzuki, etc price.. I have two 300exc's and they are both early 2000's and I havent had any major issues at all out of them and the 99 husky cr250 I have has been great as well... atleast the valves dont stretch so fast you can't keep up with them like the yamaha's, etc "in the 4 stroke bikes that is".. clearly 2 strokes don't have normal valves

T M honestly that’s the best way to do it... because that will help eliminate the chance of improper torque after the bolt and threads stretch... if you watch the scene where he torques the handlebars down... you can see the marking on the extension not move one bit on the second torque
Tork anahtarını kullanırken istenilen yüke ulaşıldığında 5 kere daha sıkarak aynı sesi duymanın bir anlamı yok. Alet sıkılması gereken güce gelir ve daha fazla zorlamak faydasızdır.
Söylediğiniz şey her yerde geçerli değildir. Altında ezilen tip conta , oring vs bulunan yerlerde ( buji , yağ filtresi vsvs ) yada cift civata ile çalışan yerlerde ( mesnet yada teker mil kontrası gibi ) yerlerde bir kere sıkmak olmaz. Birkaç kere tıklanması gerekir.

No grease on front axle? Torqued down without centering front tire? Done.
I was thinking literally the exact same thing. It hurt my soul.
And he cranks down on all the bolts so they never come back out.
I'm excited and this video is better than any AD!
Those austrian guys sure know how to pack almost everything you need:)

Always keep the box in case you have to send it back.
This bike is mainly hold together by zip ties
Like all enduro bikes haha
How much money did you save by building on your own all that pieces versus buying It already mounted ?
You can't. That's why he has Giovanni there. Who is probably a certified KTM mechanic. No KTM franchise will sell a bike to you in the crate.

It would be cool to see what the bike can do from the factory with all the restrictions and how it does after being opened up
that's the greatest unboxing ever!
Why remove the sparkplug iridium?
What you using for FLASH process of the ECU?
First start and directly revving it into the limiter... My oh my thats just so stupid
Lol
@Derbisenda yes but you have to let the engine get a chance to warm up before giving wide open
this was the second run, I am giovanni.

Why do they come with a different pipe like that?
The one that was installed when it came was restricted and the more fattyer was full power exhaust 😁

So many people complaining in the comments yall should shut up and let this man just live his life
Why you change the spark plug with this from the box? Have a difference?
Either an updated one from ktm or they want a one that burns a little hotter/colder

Why change the spark plug?
Probably something to do with emissions, like the cheap pipe woth the wonky expansion chamber. It looked like a different plug in the side by side comparison.
They provide a spare. You should wait until you run the assembly oil out of the bike, about one hour ride time, then change to the new plug...
What’s up with that pipe?
Euro emissions?
Looks more like a 125/150 pipe.
Strange shape for a 250/300.

I think you ask for which is fitted on the bike. Yes, it's for euro emissions. You must exchange it with the one in the box next to the motorcycle.
A hint was to remove the stop switch. I saw keys attached to the handlebars. Do the new 2 stroke models have a keyed start for 2020? If not, how are you shutting the bike down?
You turn it off by pressing the killswitch

A torque wrench should be used with guidance from the product manufacturer and each screw has its own torque.
