Same laptop here. So happy to own this laptop cause by the design wise its just look gorgeous and doesn't really look like a typical gaming laptop. Its worth it!

What is your opinion on fan noise, I am consider buying it for UNI, do you recommend it? Also, I am learning computer science what laptop do you recommend?
Fan noise isn't bad, but it can get pretty loud under load. For a computer science student I'd say focus most of your attention on keyboard, battery life, and cpu.
About the build quality, I've heard other reviews mention that the build is plastic, including the track pad... Only the keyboard deck and sides are aluminum. Does the plastic feel premium or like if you drop the laptop is it brittle?
The plastics feel good. Especially the trackpad, the finish on it is perfect and doesn’t give you the feeling that your finger will burn off like cheap plastic touch pads do. Honestly the plastics kind of remind me of the back of the new Samsung S21, which makes sense since it’s the same type of plastic.
I don't have the laptop yet but other reviewers mentioned that in a quiet room you can hear the fans no matter what, even on low performance settings. Basically this laptop has excellent thermals with a cost of quiet fans
I think the 300hz is kinda dumb because you’d need to be able to hit 300fps to truly take advantage of it and that’s just unrealistic in most cases. And I’m not really a fan of the 10750H performance, it’s lack luster.

Have you experienced any keyboard ghosting? Ive heard from a lot of people that its a major flaw on this laptop.
I haven’t experienced it. But faults do happen, so I wouldn’t be surprised.

In my experience so far, I only really hear the fans when they ramp up. But when they do ramp up, prepare for takeoff.
Do you think the HP Omen 15 with Intel i7 10750H and 300hz of refresh rate is a great option too?

I'd go with a 144hz model. Unless you're super competitive 300hz won't be of much use like ever

If you’re on a budget, absolutely.
Im good with the pause button, but what i hate the most is the power button!!!!
