yeah....crash was really something and iconic it's kinda sad this franchise just...died and sony just stopped caring about this franchise and just dropped them not just crash almost every platformer from the 90's and some from the 2000's died and cease out of the gaming realm like where is rayman, megaman, spyro, bubsy etc...they all gone! sadly...i mean yeah crash and spyro got some remakes here nad there and came back but then they died again for a second time bruh the only platformers that are with us right now are mario and sonic the only two platformers that survived specially sonic sonic is really a tough franchise...and survived the worst of the worst that usually kill a franchise (although thank god the movies were successful like...i think in the very least if frontiers failed i think sega would've cut the budget and resources from the sonic ip and sonic team meaning there wouldn't be any shadow generations or any big budget sonic game and sonic team itself would've been dissolved if frontiers failed like...this was their last chance and i'm glad it payed off) back to the topic it just kinda sad to see the crash franchise died and sony isn't even bothering to revive this franchise again..i just feel like there's alot untapped potential with this franchise.
@@JakeThehedgehog-m1x I remember being so angry and sad that Crash 5 was cancelled, despite the games still having a decent following. Speaking of, Rayman and Spyro also deserved much better! I wish instead of killing off games and refusing to make them, the companies would just sell the rights to someone who actually cares about them. We have too many game franchises that deserve to flourish that don’t get the chance to even exist anymore, unfortunately :(
@@catluvr.88 I'm gonna give you the most harsh truth why did this happen a clear and straight forward answer it's simpler than you Think why most platformer dropped it's quite...simple platformers just don't sell to many copies like compare to RPG,action games etc...platformers just don't sell too well you know that's the reason they dropped them and don't investing in them anymore why bother investing in platformers when other genre of gaming sell more the only reason Mario and sonic are still are because two reasons one they are the mascot of their companies which... obviously makes it alot easier for them to survive two both Mario and sonic are just still profitable for Nintendo and Sega that's why Nintendo and Sega keeping them alive and fleshing them out I promise you...if Mario and sonic weren't profitable for Nintendo and Sega they would've dropped them long time ago... that's just how corporations are I know it's kinda disheartening but it's the truth. 100%ing Crash 4 sounds like an absolute nightmare but then again it’s a lot better developed than 1. The first game isn’t perfect but I imagine it’s because it’s the first in a trilogy (or quad) :)
As someone who played Crash 1 on PlayStation & the remake in 2017, I completely disagree with this, like outright. Crash Bandicoot 1 was such a major turn-off. I think the save system is bad, the bosses suck, and the controls is garbage with using the d-pad.
@@Reigndolph Well yeah I agree, which I why I said that the sequels were handled a lot better. Most things in my videos will be opinions and I will state it outright, much like how I did here. I did say the bosses weren’t great, and that the save system sucks. Controls are fine enough, not anything revolutionary and that it could be frustrating. Just thought it was a decent starting point for things to grow, that’s all :)
I like this game because of Crash's tall bandicoot girlfriend Tawna and she became one of my favorites after the N'Sane Trilogy & CTRNF
i recently discover your channel and as the title said, its a nice start
keep it going

I started playing the gba games there equally as charming as the early titles:) hreat review!
I hope the 5th game comes out eventually, a lot of games have become uncancelled so i have a bit of hope (or cope lmao)
I just can't play and finish Crash 1, I got the 100% completion on Crash 2, 3 and even 4 before 1

@@catluvr.88 @catluvr.88 it really was a whole nightmare, but for me it was easier than attempting the platinum relics on crash 1 lol
I agree controls on the original are much easier. I hated n sane trilogy because of awful controls.

Crash 1 in my opinion was just too hard. Crash 2 was perfect
It totally was, can’t deny that! I guess I just really enjoy difficult (ish) games occasionally, but I agree, 2 was a lot better.
