Good News Auto - The Business Journey

This video features content that we wanted to share with our "MMN - Marketplace Ministries Network" audience as well as with those interested in the topics presented by speakers sharing of their journey and areas of expertise.
This presentation connects well with several areas addressed in previous "MMN - Marketplace Ministries Events" and features Chris Ferland, owner of “Good News Auto” - a vehicle repair shop that grew out of a “car-care” ministry, started by a local church congregation.. His story, and his journey into business is unusual, and speaks to the powerful impact that one can have on another. Beyond that, it vividly demonstrates the significant impact that a changed life can have on so many more, as we follow the Lord’s leading.
In this video, Chris describes how he and his wife took over a "Car Care Ministry" that had been started by a church in the area. Jumping into something that was outside of their personal area of expertise, they faced almost overwhelming challenges that only a miracle would overcome. Yet that's exactly what happened. And not only did they overcome, they grew their venture into a job-creating and profitable business venture. At the same time, they developed an outstanding model with their "JumpStart!" program that has helped numerous individuals and families with a "hand-up", rather than with a "hand-out" in the region. This is the story that demonstrates the power of having a compelling vision and purpose - one that goes beyond merely generating a profit for the bottom line. This story will inspire and challenge each of us to find and fulfill the purpose that's been set before us.
