Curious about something. Any idea why I am unable to post a comment? Obviously I can reply to an existing one, but cannot start a new one. Not upset, just find it weird. Regardless, I was going to point something out to possibly help. Assuming that Skyblock works like regular Minecraft, you can use a stairs block to prevent the water getting to the lava. Basically, set the stairs so the flat side (the "back") is towards the lava. Put the water on the side with the steps (the "front") and when the lava moves closer it will form a cobblestone block. Not only will this prevent the water from turning the lava into obsidian, but you can also shorten the generator to 3 blocks wide/long. The only thing I am unsure of is if you need to use stone stairs and not wood.

Don’t know if you know this but just thought I’d put it out there when placing slabs you can do it on the bottom half of a regular block and it will prevent mob spawns like on bridges which is coal/charcoal efficient because you don’t have to light anything up anyways have fun on your endeavours can’t wait to see more
Yes! We did that on our bridges! for the island since we need to place our houses on our islands, we just took the charcoal hit lol important thing to know! and tysm!
