    Thank you, Albert! Your ideas are always inspiring and i love the simplicity and non-pressure approach. Keeping this in mind it helped me often to overcome a locked situation and just move forward expecting nothing (what is a challenge for me) and- most important - HAVE FUN. Wish you all the best und looking forward to new videos 😊

    Fabulas, mark making presents so much freedom, and playfulness. I think it's an essential part of an artists work, to develop creativity. I use my camera too, finding interest in things many people never see. Thank you for sharing yours and your students ideas, so glad l found you this morning. Alioban

      Thanks Alison, indeed a playful approach or play as a way of doing 'useless' experiments are essential. And fun, what else can you wish for? Enjoy playing, Albert

    I love mark-making on paper, then ripping or cutting shapes out to use in abstract paintings. The contrast is dynamic and instant!
    Its amazing how mark-making can connect us to our inner child! To just feel pure joy and wonder!

      Thanks, RaeRae. Spot-on about your inner child. I love your idea or ripping the paper to play with the shapes. I'm thinking about a video on that technique, I found an artist who uses it. Interesting. Albert

    These are great inspirational ideas for students who don't have much experience with making art. I am teaching a beginning drawing class and will use this video as a reference. I have already asked students to invent or create art materials that they won't find in an art store. (except for paper) Love the wax and shoe polish idea. Tea works well also. Thanks for the inspiration, Albert!

      Thanks Eugenia, I love to hear a story like this. Just playing around at beginners level, having fun, doing odd experiments using crazy materials, keep doing the good work. Kids (at every age) need to be abe to play more. So thanks to you. Albert

    Hi Albert. I have only seen the first 2:55 minutes seconds. I stopped to ask if you had noticed the beatnick, complet with beret and sunglasses in the botom left of the painting? It never fails to amaze me how good the brain is at finding patterns in clouds, fire, paint and so on. "I love to paint using my fingers but others resent it". Smile, Now, back to the demo, thank you.

    • @ImperfectPaintings
      @ImperfectPaintings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha, Gordon, yes there's lots to see and wonder about. All the paintings are packed with faces, creatures and fantasy animals. I lost track and couldn't count them anymore. And finger painting, I was curious if you would react. Now I know🤣
      Enjoy, Albert

      @@ImperfectPaintings Yes, finger painting; I don't resent it, it simply makes me feel queesy. Having been brought up not to get my hands dirty, left a perment mark on me. Blush.

    Hi everybody, the name of Vladimir Boudnik comes to my mind now. His mission in Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic and Slovakia) of the fifties and sixties of the last century was to explain to the audience that there is poetry in marks and stains, in puddles and aged machinery surfaces.
