This was very helpful! I also really appreciate the no bullshit, no filler, jump straight into it approach. One of the best tutorial videos I've ever seen. Thanks man, 'ppreciate it. Dope shirt design btw
After the ink dried, i would take a face cloth and put it on top of the image & run the iron over it. I read it some where online because it helped so it didnt wash away.
This is straightforward and helpful, but an 8-minute burn time made my emulsion way overexposed. I'm gonna have to clean up, buy new supplies, and start again!
I have emulsion sheets , and the same light . I let it burn for about 6 minutes, but when I go to rinse the screen everything slowly starts peeling off
I found using just red on black didn't work for me. The red disappeared into the black and looked more like a dark red. I later used white first and then red over it.
Why they stopped making the Yudo silk screen printing kit is beyond me. Was the best silk screen printer out there. Printing multi-color was super easy. Ecotex photopolymer with the diazo premixed in is the best product to use.
Once you've taken off the screen from the fabric. Whats the cure time after that? Will the paint cure RIGHT after you peel it off? Or dose it take longer?
I put my film in the paper tray and the print came out perfect. Just make sure you set the film so the print is on the rough side. It’ll come out much better
You have to cure it using heat. Either a heat press or a conveyor dryer. I think 350 degrees got about 35 seconds does it but it depends on the fabric too.

You have to cure it using heat. Otherwise it will wash off, and if using plastisol ink, you absolutely need to cure it with ink or it will never dry.
Does an inkjet printer work for printing the films?

@@chinchillamiller Will do. Thanks for making a great, comprehensive how-to! It’s going to help me with my first endeavor.
My question exact! Thank you!

Did you ever find out ? I was wondering the same thing , I assume you would just have to use the puff print ink
Is the stabilizer supposed to be liquid? Mine was like completely solid and impossible to dissolve
When I try to do white it dries up in the screen so I have to wash off to repeat

Crank up you cure time and make sure your coats of emulsion aren't to thick .
