Watching him later in his career...he just lost his zest for playing.

Second, he is one of the best passing point guards to play in the last 20 years. His passing is elite. He is also a decent-good on-ball defender and a very good help defender for a guard. If Rubio was able to develop a jump shop at some point in his career and shoot league average, he would have been a fringe all star. People forget that he sonned Westbrook with the Jazz a few years back, but for some reason dude just couldn't shoot to save his life which is weird cause he shot like 80% from the line
