I have this little story going on to like deepen the angst and well a bit of a happy ending. Like Nene and Kou married for well their first loves happiness, like Kou x Mistuba (I think the pink hair ghost) is going round. And since Mitsuba is also a ghost what if he like also redeemed himself and disappeared too along with Hanako. later on we see Nene and Kou getting married happy since they want their first loves to be happy since they want them to continue living on happily. But Kou and Nene only marry for their first loves happiness, they still love each other as friends. But then what if Hanako and Mitsuba get reincarnated for redeeming themselves and one day meet Kou and Nene again?

this actually COULD happen because on the last timeline the reason why Yashiro was going to die in the first place because she's the last kannagi + sakura also said that she would die after all yorishiro was taken off. but on the new timeline, theres no more 7 wonders meaning there is no yorishiro to break. just a thinking of mine tho!
