  • What can you do when you're feeling impatient waiting for something to dry and nothing to dry it with? Use whatever you do have nearby. No paper towels to clean up the generous amount of spray ink so I grabbed something else. You'll also see a no fail cheat kind of way to do image transfers and how to keep spray ink bottles from clogging. full supply list on the blog at bit.ly/2wJDBNO

Those “failures” and “mistakes” that I had so harshly criticized myself about actually became true gifts as soon as I started saying O.O.P.S. Try saying Oops in an angry tone. It makes it even more silly! I just can’t take myself seriously when I say Oops which is just what I needed to play. I began to play, to have fun, and to embrace all of my “mistakes”.

Carolyn, you’re amazing! After watching your videos, me and a friend decided to do some dirty pour acrylics! They turned out fabulous! Can’t wait to see how they look after drying!

I keep an old book that I rip pages out to act as my "paper towels" & later use them as doodle pages. Thanks for the tip for cleaning spray bottles!

I have a fan. Like from the dollar store and luxuriously sparkly, as if Mardi Gras inspired. If I can’t find the fan (it tends to hide under/behind stuff) I use a piece of paper or card and fan it like mad. Also, I dab with any loose bits of fabric nearby. I always have torn bits of fabric among the flotsam and jetsam of my print table. Whatever floats to the top gets dabbed or stamped or stenciled or glued onto something or becomes quilt.

I look at what you did to avoid using the heat gun for a few seconds and shook my head. I like the idea of using baby wipes to get some paint off. I do that on purpose sometimes LOL. The heat gun is no big deal for me to use and it's always near by.
To each his own. I enjoy your videos though, they make me laugh.
