Great game. I was surprised when I first played because I didn't know what to expect, and was blown away at how fluid the controls and motions were for the platforming and the combat. Good variety of enemies and levels, and good difficultly scaling as the game progresses.

The NES is a path towards many new games, some consider un-collectable because there are so MANY GAMES

Now if only the TAS-er can do the JP version of this game (不動明王伝 - Fudou Myouou Den), which is twice the length

I used to love playing this as a kid. It was too hard to beat.

i got this game as part of a NES console and games bundle, and man was i hella surprised by the huge disparity between the cartridge/box art and the actual game itself

This game from Taito has many great ideas but obviously inferior to Ninja Gaiden from Tecmo

Am I viewing Legend Of Cage?

Demon Sword is actually a loose sequel or spiritual successor to Legend of Kage, but for some reason, when they released it in the US, Taito put a Conan the Barbarian-looking guy on the box art and tried to hide its connection to the original game.

One of my favorite NES game. I think the game's design is based on a lot of old Chinese films meshed together into one game. Watch, Duel to the Death and similar to understand. th-cam.com/video/gDPjaSaJqt8/w-d-xo.html
