So happy I found this! I bought this exact pattern and I’ve never used one before so it’s my first sewing project . You make it look do-able and now I shan’t be too intimidated to start, thank you! Subscribed immediately!!
@@MirandaSews Thank you so much, I don’t think I’d have even attempted to start without seeing people like yourself on You Tube. I love watching your channel because you don’t come across as if you know everything already or do everything perfectly, and genuinely enjoy the creative process, learning as you go. You’ve inspired me to try something I haven’t done since I was 12 at school, I wasn’t good at it then either but I remember the pride I had finishing a gingham apron so I figured it was a good place to start! Thanks again ❤
Oh, I love the shape of this apron! I have a 1940’s vintage apron pattern, I think it’s a cottage apron style? I bought bias tape for the first time just for it. It has a lot of pockets across the front and is almost more of a smock. I have 4 kids, frequently use aprons, and wanted something heavy duty. Also, modern store bought aprons never fit me right for some reason, so I’m inspired to make my own. I might need to grab this pattern!
This is such a cute apron! Also: congratulations! The only vintage reproduction apron I’ve sewn so far is out of print. It was Simplicity 3544, my first time ever using bias tape, and I made it out of a not at all vintage Hello Kitty fabric.
Congratulations on becoming a Mommy. I was out of breath a lot, along with terrible heartburn with my 2nd child. The third trimester one of my legs would swell up double it's normal size the doctor told me she was pressing against. the left side of my body (my left leg was the one that would swell up) Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl?? Have you sewn any baby clothes yet? I didn't have the patients to sew baby clothes back when I had my daughters. My girls are almost 49 and 47, my youngest was born 3 weeks after my eldest turned 2. Love the apron.
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing about your sweet family! I have sewn several baby clothes and have a few videos on my channel. I need to make a video showing all that I have made so far.
Would like ot subscribe but the music is too distracting and I can not separate your voice from the music although I think you would be channel I would like except I can't do music
Have you sewn any of the 1940s, 50s, or 60s apron patterns true vintage or reproduction? If so, which patterns were your favorites?

Sounds fun 🤩
I love how it came out. You’re more patient than me, I would have used whatever I had at the moment, mismatched and all.😂
Thanks! Haha...I do that sometimes too!
Very pretty!
Thank you! 😊
I think a ruffled edge next time with colorful fabrics will make a different statement. The apron pattern has a pretty flair. 🥰

You need to take the fur out of the plastic bag and store in a muslin bag. Plastic will destroy it. 😍😍
Good to know

Oh, I see. I will keep that in mind for my next video I will reduce the amount of music when I’m talking. Hope that helps. 😊
