If you're not looking for 4*4 there are multiple other options.
On Road price should have never been above 13.5 lacs in top variant. They gone crazy jacking up the prices to 15.5+ lacs. Add the mandatory Tyre upgrade of around 50k for all 4 tyres. 16 lacs for this? Hell no.

This one has only 134 nm of torque. Thar petrol has 300 nm. Fogure that out. Plus Jimny base model costs 14.2 lakh on road, and Thar base model costs less than 12 lakhs.
