Like always, you have side by side compared the two radios (S-2000 & D-808) for their FM reception. Your practical on the spot comparison leaves no stone unturned. We can see exactly what's going on. Such comparative reviews are rare to be seen on TH-cam. Thank you so much for this EXCELLENT comparative review. Good job done sir. 😊
Like I have mentioned earlier, it will be better if we can avoid comparing the sound output of two radios under test; since their Pre-Amp as well as Main-Amp have different circuitries including added Tone (Bass & Treble) controls. As far as possible we should compare the two basic but important primary functions of a Radio viz the Sensitivity and Selectivity. I see that both radios fared equally well except when moving up the frequency scale when the S-2000 failed to pull-in a moderately stronger signal but the D-808 was successful. IMO & as I understand, the reason for this being that the S-2000 is around 15 year old and based on old technology. Whereas, the D-808 is a DSP based radio with latest technology. Hence, to be fare, we need to give the S-2000 the benefit of doubt.
Thank you (once again! 😊) for your valuable time and painstaking efforts in bringing these videos to us. I am very grateful. Looking forward to MW & SW comparison as well.

I absolutely agree, considering that the S-2000 is an old technology Radio, it has still managed to compete neck to neck with a modern beast like D-808. And similarly considering their priced, D-808 can't compete with S-2000 soundwise.

I was waiting for this Tecsun S-8000 review series and what a perfect way to Shri Ganesh it alongside XHDATA D808! With this comparison review on FM among two, one thing is worth appreciating that how far technological advancements have come to size down all the needful features neatly inside a small box of wonder! This was indeed a neck to neck bout between S-2000 and D-808. No doubt Tecsun also gave a tough competition but with the price point and the humongous size it owes, I expected more out of it. With every comparison video you are bringing, my faith is getting cemented for XHDATA D-808. Will be waiting for MW and SW comparison. 73! 🙏

@@koolabhi84 ji, whatever is there to catch on AIR band, D-808 will certainly catch from such a small distance. I have my own principles and I believe we have no business listening to Airport conversations, and that's why I never made videos on AIR band or else D-808 catches AIR band signals from even 180 km distance. If you are planning to buy D-808, there is no reason why you shouldn't buy it. It's a great device. It's only that its sound lacks bass, only a little bit.

Namaste, I am writing this comment to let you know about this new experiment. I would like you to watch this video Title "Revolutionizing Ham Radio: Introducing a Faraday Cloth Antenna 'Frara-J' for 2m", that was uploaded 9 hours ago. He made a HAM radio antenna experiment out of Faraday cloth. It's a cloth made of metal fibres. Very compact and more efficient. We can make and try this on our SW, FM as well.

Looks like this radio has no chuffing on FM at least. Maybe there is no chuffing on SW also? That would be a big plus point. Let's wait for an affordable radio without the chuffing 🙂
Praveen ji, both chuffing and soft muting have been covered but that video is yet to release, actually that's the next video. D-808 suffers from both diseases.

Xhdata d808 is awesome. The only downside of this Radio is lack of bass.

Agar aap RF562DD ki baat kar rahe hain to wo RF2400D se better hai ye main aapko bata chuka.
Agar aap kisi aur Radio ko lene ki soch rahe hain to naam batayiye please, main bata dunga sahu hai ya nahi
