The band original went to a talented contest they use to be neighbors and they heard Yonghoon was a contestant, when they heard him sing they approached him afterward and asked him if he could go get coffee together 🤓😏 it was love at first cord. So he ended up joining, he is in military right now bit definitely recommended check out their music. He is probably one of my favorite vocalist in Kpop ( next to DK from SVT)
Recommended start with Aurora & Star.... he definitely can hold a note.

The main vocalist’s name is WooSung (the one with the very distinct voice), he has his solo stuff too. You should react to Face, so good!

The Rose is so amazing! I nearly cried when I heard Woosung/Sammy (the main vocalist) sing live. It's such a shame that the band recently filed a lawsuit against their label for not paying them properly for the three years they've been active. I hope they resolve it quickly and get picked up by a better label because they're too good to let disappear!!

Same, before all the covid stuff, I was mostly into rock/metal music and theses two rock band I love their music, and I use their songs to practice singing actually (i learn Korean two, perfect combo).

Im not really into literal bands anymore, but recently I’ve gotten into The Rose and another band called Day6. Anyway, She’s In The Rain was the first song I’ve ever heard by them, and just UGH so many feels😭 I listen to this song when I’m happy, when I’m sad, when it’s sunny, when it’s rainy- you get the point. It’s like their vocals can physically touch your soul.

I actually listen to NFlying too! I’m still kinda new to them but I post a lot about them on my Twitter lol. And I’ve heard of ONEWE but I haven’t checked them out, I’ll be sure to soon💕

OMG YESSSSSSSSSS I HAVE WAITED FOR SO LONG FOR A VOCAL COACH TO COVER THE ROSE!!!
Woosung’s voice is literally one of a kind and he uses such a unique vocal technique. A lot of people like to try and imitate his voice, but it never quite sounds right.
And Dojoon’s voice is such a perfect complement to Woosung’s. It’s so sweet-sounding with a nice vibrato. His voice is also really powerful.
It’s Woosung’s ability to emote, and control the vibrato, the huskiness and , breathiness of his voice that got me. Whatever he’s feeling while singing, comes across. I feel it

I’m starting to Love The Rose. It’s a shame I have read for others fans that they aren’t getting paid for their company since the debut. I hope they can get a solution or a better company.

Woosung - the vocalist with the "breathy" voice is actually friends with Jae, the lead guitarist in Day6. They joined the same reality show.
As a K-Band Stan id love to tell you there are many bands and new ones every year idol bands to check out Cnblue N.Flying FTisland Day6 Iz there are many bands but if u only keep posting group reactions people will mostly give you groups request in the comments also I'd say check out groups like KARD and Dreamcatcher for a different style or genre of kpop

ugh I wish you could react to the Superband performances (it's an audition show in Korea, like the Voice but 1000x better, it's about instruments and vocals, they sometimes compose their own songs for it too, all the performances were very emotional and powerful in their own way) but I heard the copyright on it is very strict. but I just want you to listen to it, the vocalists are só incredibly strong, talented, emotional.

this song makes me cry in so many ways. not to get personal, but i found it in a dark time in my life. and hearing “you wanna hurt yourself, i’ll stay with you” and “it’s better to be held than holding on” and the change to “WE’RE in the rain” hits me straight in the heart. because when i found this song, i really needed to hear that.

The Rose is absolutely amazing live! There are some other bands in "k-pop." FTisland, a rock band...Hongki has a very unique tone with amazing vocals but he probably doesn't have the best technique as he is a rock singer. CNBlue is also another one and Yonghwa the lead singer is an amazing vocalist with lots of control! Then there is Day6, NFlying, Nell, Hyukoh, South Club and more!

There is another great Korean band, they just debuted last year but their vibe is so unique and beautiful. The band's name is Hoppipolla, they won a band contest (SuperBand). Highly recommended, you would love Ha Hyunsang's voice, it's like art.
I definitely think you should react to ftisland. Their vocalist has a unique voice, everyone who have listened them for at least 3 times know what I’m talking about. You should listen to wind, orange sky and shadows live

They are so underrated! If you ever get a chance to see them live, do it!!! I saw them in my town. They put on a great show. They are also still small enough that for a reasonable price you can get a high touch ticket where you can briefly meet and greet the band. I think you would love the entirety of their albums. Wooyoung the main vocalist also has his own mini album which is fantastic. Such a unique voice and he is extremely charismatic!

There definitely are Kpop “bands” out there but they are more “niche” in the industry since there are so many performance-based groups out there. Some Kpop bands to check out - DAY6, NFlying, ONEWE, IZ, TheEastLight, FTIsland, CNBlue, etc. just to name a few, but of course, these are just the ones that I know, surely there’s more out there.

Regarding what you said about them reminding you of The 1975, I noticed that too when I first listened to them. The leader Woosung (english name Sam/Sammy- the one that has a distinctiv voice) said that they get a lot of inspiration from them and also Coldplay.

Another kpop band that is quite popular is Day6: Congratulation(debut song), I wait, Sweet chaos, Shot me,Not mine, I loved you, You were beautiful, Time of our life.
There is also Onewe that debuted a year ago: Regulus, Reminesce about all, Love me (they also have a brother grup Oneus- the are a boy group, also debuted a year ago. You might want to check out Valkyrie, Twillight and Lit if you haven't already)

I saw The Rose live and I have to say live it sounds really really good, it sounds even better then watching a video.
I saw them live here in the UK in November. I have been with the rose since day one, and I love their songs and their vocals. The concert was amazing and very impactful! Very personal as well as it was only small.
I cant wait for their comeback...in the concerts we get to hear Hajoon (the drummer) and Jaehyeong (electric guitar) sing! And they have such amazing voices too, so I hope their new comeback we get to hear more of these two.
Woosung (main vocalist) and Dojoon (2nd vocalist) have amazing voices themselves as well when live, ugh I fell in love more deeply then 😭😭
