Until my cousin told me that Ratchet and Clank Remake is free on PS4 (We can't pay with dollars) So I downloaded it and played the whole game, and I liked it. Being the first game of R&C that I've ever played, I loved it and had fun. But then I wondered how was the original game? So I took a look at the original game on ps2, and oh lord. The levels, the interactions, the characters... Did I really miss such game? The original is looking so much better to me, and I wish I could try it. SO much cutted content that I didn't know about. But above all, the music. I can barely remember any ost from the remake, it's pretty forgetable being just space themed songs, while on the other hand, the original has songs that got stuck in my head even with just listening to it once. And I'm so excited to have the chance of playing the original soon

Usually remakes are the same game but with "upgraded" graphics, the PS4 release is a completely new game thats loosely based on the PS2 version. I agree that the PS2 version is sooo much better in every way though
David Bergeaud will always be one of the most under-recognized and under-appreciated composers in all of human history. This isn't just some of the best video game music of all time, it's some of the best music humanity has and will ever produce and could ever possibly experience.

I barely played the first Ratchet and Clank when I was a little kid, and I didn't get very far. I wasn't really into the series until I got a little bit older, and by that point in time I was more into Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal. When I went back and played the original in my late teens, I swore I had dreamed this level existed or made it up in my head or something.

it's a very situational weapon. i usually use it in conjunction with the mine glove or glove of doom. also useful for getting melee enemies close to ledges where you can safely wrench-toss them to death
