Great job! I was dissed by Bluehost because I didn't know this simple procedure. I was going for a domain re-name but now I don't have to thanks to you. Cheers!
Thank you, I searched through a lot of videos, even current ones, and this one was most beneficial to me. I was able to activate my second WordPress site.
Thank you SO SO much! Appreciate this greatly. Just FYI to future Bluehosters, the layout of the Bluehost page is slightly different now, but this definitely works. Cheers!
Thank you for the awesome and very clear video! I have used this to create two addon domains in Bluehost now, both looking like separate websites. I used Namecheap for the domains and that's great also.
@ColombianStyleSalsa When you open your account with Bluehost, the main directory that they assign you is your primary URL. Add on domains are sub folders of the main directory (your primary URL). I'm not an IT guy so I can't explain it very well; I just know that the way that I show it in the video works. You could contact Bluehost customer service to find out if you can install wordpress for your add on domain in the root directory rather than a sub directory.
@CraigBaP your video was really good , i understood everything until min 6:38 , in the question WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE YOU LIKE WORDPRESS INSTALLED , i understood you wanted it installed in HOW TO START A BLOG AND PODCAST , why you didnt choose that one ? anyways thanks for the video
thank you great video! What should I I do f the website that I'm transferring to Bluehost has already data and files, it is a working webiste - 1yr old? does it automatically transfer it as well, or should I need to do something else?
Which screen recorder program did you use to make the video? I'm looking to make a tutorial video like this, and was hoping to find a free screen recording software that does a decent job.
Very Helpfull. this practical stuff you won't find on any book. Thanks
