Steam locomotives are bad polluters, however, there are only a tiny number left working and they are beautiful and fascinating machines. They are a valuable relic from our industrial past and need to be saved from destruction. The pollution from these few steam locos is TINY compared to the pollution from the billions of road vehicles, aircraft and ships in the world. If you’d like to save our Earth from disaster, please get rid of your car or motor bike, don’t buy anything that has been delivered by air, sea or lorry, switch off your electricity at home, never go on holiday by aircraft or car …. oh, and switch off the computer you use to look at my videos!!! It's such a shame for indians. That the train run by Britishers is still running.
You are right
Also, it's too much smoke, it destroys the environment, as well as, it brings diseases to people
You should be proud of your heritage - no matter who it was built by. In the UK we have forts built by the Romans, castles and cathedrals built by the Normans and burial mounds built by the Celts. We're proud of this history. The Darjeeling Railway brings in huge amounts of money from tourists. You should look after this piece of history.
