Thank you to all my Patrons!
Pretty proggy? Well, yes, the whole "Guernica+a" album is a prog metal masterpiece. Best instrumental album I've ever heard. Many songs of it are available in perfect audio as Live in studio videos on their YT page.
They've recently played a new instrumental, "Planet of Metal" at Metal Kai Fest.
_Museum of Death_ is one of my favorite songs from Guernica+a, together with _Stars, Then & Now, Full Throttle, Music, Gunfire, Faced/Burned, Church, Day26_ and _000._
Sorry for the rant - It pisses me off so much that one of my favourite albums is not on TIDAL man... I loved that album especially while driving. It's a freaking masterpiece. Thankfully it at least has some live versions so I dont't have to go back to spotify... yet. I do miss Mardelas tho... I hope their library gets better or at least they let me add the tracks myself locally.
Asterism released a new EP, Planet of Metal, today, and it's amazing! Mostly instrumental. Parts have a Guernica+a vibe, but other parts are something entirely new.
This whole album has nothing but bangers and most of the tracks on it are more on the proggy side. I don't think I would be able to create a top-3 tracks on this album because I love most of them and like them all, but this is certainly among the tracks I love.
Came for Asterism, stayed for the outro song.
Wave, Thanks for this. That thumping bass and then dynamic tom action and THEN Hal Ca's dramatic riffs added suspense to "Museum of Death". It looks like someone needs to write a horror movie script around this song.
I really liked those darker patterns in the early part of the song.
Try Rising Moon, official video.
just make sure you don't forget about these guys when you get around to covering FoxFest

Thanks Wave!
