I'm so happy that you actually dress them like babies and treat them as individuals. I have twin sisters and a lot of the time I felt that they weren't treated like individuals at that age until they were older. Now they have their own personalities and different interests.
I love everything about your journey and your sweet babies. I can't imagine how wild that is to be a single mom, even with help from family and friends. In the end, they're your responsibility and you're doing amazing! I'm an identical twin and have had my built in bestie for 39 years. I can't imagine a life without my Holli. We have shared so many amazing moments together that may have not happened had we been born as singletons. We were both pregnant with our first babies at the same time (not planned lol) and were able to be in each other's delivery rooms for when our babies were born. The crazy part to our twin story was the fact our parents were told that we were one "big baby boy". They only had one ultrasound and sonogram since it was 1982 and they weren't handing those out left and right at appts like they do now. They also only heard one heartbeat during my mom's appointments. She kept telling her doctor that she was convinced she was carrying more than one baby and could feel more than one baby moving around. We were also supposed to be born on Christmas day, but she went a week further and were delivered on new years day! We were the first twins born in WA state in 1983. After my mom delivered me, the doctor started delivering what he thought would be the placenta...wroooong. He quickly realized there was another baby! After pushing for another 30+ minutes, my best friend came out and stole my thunder. It's cool though. It's one of my favorite stories to tell that no one asked for 😆 I hope your girls remain close throughout life. They have no idea right now just how special their twin bond will be as they go through their lives together.
