Love your chatter! Makes your videos more personal and realistic. You come across as a “real” person. I like hearing your initial ideas and how they evolve as you go along. Your spreads are always so creative and you are not afraid to think outside the box.❤️
I enjoy you “babbling on” while you create your beautiful spreads. You always have interesting/fun things to say and this is another innovative and beautiful spread. Thanks for sharing!🌻
My eye is the same way! I got teary eyed hearing you talk about it.. I'm just nodding along like yessss someone gets it! Also I LOVE this spread so much.
What a beautiful spreed, I began my 2020 - 2021 school year tomorrow and I am doing it remote / virtual learning for my fall semester we will see what the spring semester holds when we get there. I am a high school special education student and I am staying for a transitional year. You inspire me very much and thank you for sharing your creativity / inspiration.
I have the same thing and your the 1st person I've heard talk about it . I could never explain my vision. I had 6 surgeries. But with every surgery my vision got worse. So my mother stopped at the 6th. I never could stare into someone's eyes too self conscious and the only ones who have gotten my full self have been my kids and dogs. Thank you for talking about it.
I get it. It takes me a very long time before looking at people without my glasses when I get to know someone. Even then it is hard to look them in the eye for too long.
I love how pretty this looks and very functional as well. Maryellen your so creative and funny to watch and listen to. I love your sense of humor about your fur babies. IV watched several videos today with bumble and almond. How they love to help you work on your spreads.
Cute spread, I really like it! I’m an introvert as well and is very self conscious both in person and online. I rarely comment let alone post but I’m a fan of yours.
“Please don’t click off” 😂 I love it! I wasn’t about to click off but if I was someone who was about to I wouldn’t have after hearing that! That was awesome! 😊 I think it’s great that you talk throughout your videos.... helps me think I was there with you and you were talking to me! I love your spreads and have learned a lot from you! TFS and keep being you! 💕
This is amazing! I’ve never really watched anyone put this together! I really love the large happy planner! I use the classic one for our homeschooling plans but I’d rather the larger one
Cute spread! I have glaucoma and have low vision. Have had many surgeries in the last 14 years. I can understand what you’re saying. Thank you for sharing that part of yourself.💗
LOL!!! You are NOT too chatty!!! I've watched you since the beginning and I believe you have opened up a lot, which is good! But, you're not too chatty!
Just beautiful. Your chatting through the whole spread had me completely invested in watching & listening. The spread is perfect. Thanks for sharing everything.
Loved it sooo much!! I’ve done mine for the week -- so I might do something like it for next week!! Really enjoy 😉 watching your videos- it’s how I like to start my day!!! Thanks
Cute spread. Love the colors. I had no idea that you have a lazy eye. I get angry 😡 when shows or movies make fun of medical issues. I have nerve deafness in my left ear and people can be really cruel. So I know that feeling well. I would have never known. Your spreads are beautiful and obviously great at it or you wouldn’t be a mentor. You rock MaryEllen.
Such a beautiful spread xx I really related to your story of getting angry when tv shows or films make jokes about your condition. I suffer with very severe asthma and unfortunately now rely on oxygen all the time. Shows forever use asthma as a joke or a weakness and this helps fuel the opinion that asthma isn’t as serious as it is. Anyway love your work and your chattiness. Xx
... and I got addicted to lines...🙈 Mmm that's enough sloth for me! Not only are you uber-talented, you are so funny! I love to watch your videos!!! Thanks for sharing.
I love the sloth. it's so cute. I'm hoarding mine because he's so cute but I need to use him. I always enjoy your commentary during your pwm... but this one was really great. thanks for sharing some tidbits about you. and you made me LOL about the lines. I'm an introvert too but ooooh boy if I know you I wont shut up...unless I'm upset about something..
I'm new to planning and recently found your page. I've been watching all your videos and love how you decorate! Today I heard you talking about your lazy eye, which I have also since I was about 20 years old. It's so, so hard when people make fun of it and I've been so self conscious for years because of it. But I respect you for speaking about it. I completely understand. 💞 👁
Yes and I too have a lazy eye no surgery but I turn my head to the side to watch tv using the dominant eye. I also am an introvert but was also an amazing nay child so I think that had a lot to do with it. I didn’t know how to interact with my peers. More comfortable around adults and kids older
I was super shy and it was so hard in school. Sometimes it still is. And I have a lazy eye too. My niece got it but not my kids. My dad had it and went blind in that eye
I am your age, and also had a lazy eye. And crossed eyes. My first surgery was at age 4, and have had glasses ever since. I totally know what you’re talking about with the mean kids, and I too was always an introvert, which didn’t help. The kids used to call me “4 eyes” which isn’t that bad but when you’re young and self conscious it’s not good. As you, by the time I hit high school I had my core group of friends, and enjoyed my last couple of years at school. Thank you for sharing, I have been where you were.
This spread is adorable. I was hoping that you would put the sloth on the flowers in the top Sunday box. lol I also always enjoy when you talk rather than speed through the videos. ♡♡♡
Omg! You just cracked me up with the lazy eye comments!!! 😂 I have one too and it’s JUST like you said. Bad at sports, keep bumping into things, that weird double but not quite double vision thing, etc... I have to count the lines on my ruler in order to know what I’m measuring. And I’m an architect. Can you imagine?
Your spread came out really nice:-) And what you said really touched me also. I've always been shy and an introvert. I do much better one on one. And I've always been self conscious about my lazy eye. I've never had surgery on it. I feel like I could hide it when I was younger, unless I was tired. Now it's harder to control. I'm very self conscience of it and hate it when someone feels the need to ask me if I'm looking at them or what I see. I also don't appreciate the jokes. I don't see many people with it. None of my family had it. I guess I was just the lucky one! Lol
Oh my! I have the same thing you're describing about your eye however I've never been told it's a lazy eye. Glasses correct it somewhat unless I am super tired! 2 of my 3 kids have it as well and glasses with bifocals correct theirs as well. It is a shame when thats something for children to tease about. I love your videos and don't think its to much chatting!
Hi Mary Ellen--I have the same thing, called strabismus. Because I have it myself--and am very conscious of it--I normally notice it immediately in others. I was gobsmacked when you said you had a lazy eye. I never noticed it. Mine tends to wander off when I'm super tired or haven't had enough coffee. I've been talking to people when all of the sudden they get very worried and say 'Uh...one of your eyes is...looking over there..." Then I know it's time for me to go to bed.
Mary Ellen, I felt so special in the shout outs when you called my name and you knew how to say my last name! :D I know it's just shout outs, but it was really cool to hear you say my name. I'm glad I thought to send you that message with the pronunciation. I love the colors of this spread. This turned out beautifully, but so does everything you do! And just FYI, I love when you get chatty. I feel like that's how people relate to you so well. You're just a very real person. I know that that's what draws me to your videos and your Patreon. Some day, I plan to join your Bumble BFF level for one month (because that's probably all I could afford) so that I can get the chance to talk to you and be friends and to receive one of your fabulous spreads!
I was teased growing up .. called crossed eyed.. beady eyed... me ex joked about it... now I have a prism in my lens to help prevent the “double vision”...
Oh I felt this on so many levels! I don’t technically have a lazy eye, I have paralyzed eyes (Dwaynes refractive syndrome) so my left eye can’t look left & my right eye can’t look right very far. I got teased for having a lazy eye all my life & I get true double vision if I try to look left. So no peripheral vision. Anyway...I feel your pain! Love the spread as always 😁🤗
I have eye problems as well. My eye drifts and comes back. It’s like the images separate into double vision and then combines back into a single image. It’s very frustrating! They called it intermittent exotropia/strabismus. I have never had surgery; they were worried I would end up seeing double all the time. Unfortunately, one of my kiddos ended up having it. They were able to fix his with surgery though when he was 1. I find myself having trouble maintaining eye contact and I’m sure it’s partially due to my eye.
I have a lazy eye too and people are sooo annoying about it which is why I never bring it up. They go “omg I never noticed but I can kinda see it now” but I don’t have strabismus so you wouldn’t have been able to notice anyway...
I can relate ! I didn't have a lazy eye, but I had a MASSIVE mole on my ear, it stuck out of my head like 1/2 an inch, and I always got teased for it. I was also VERY quiet and shy I had a group of 2-3 real friends and I've never really come out of my shell. Kids are mean. *Queasy stomache? Stop here..* I got the mole removed while in the military and it was a horriffic experience. They used only iodine no numbing agent and the guy doing it sawed it off with a scalpel then applied a super glue like sealant but instead of just putting it on once he went oved it 6+ times and just kept ripping off the previous layer... traumatic. LOL
Shout out to all of us cross eyed, double vision peeps! My cornea is actually flat, which causes my eye to cross and see double. I've been like this since I was 3, so almost 40 years. I love my contacts to correct it. And I'm the same way, I get so pissed when I see it being used for comedic reasons! So annoying.
@@PlanningwithBumble I agree! At 42, my brother still makes fun of me for it. He says, "Look at me when I'm talking to you." Like. Seriously. How old are we!?!

I definitely get it! Thanks
You are never too chatty! That is why i rewatch your videos and do my spreads with your videos as company😄
Sometimes I’m like what is she doing at the beginning of the spread. Then as things progress, I’m amazed at what you created! So stunning!

I'm the same way. Hearing her talk about it make me get teary eyed because someone else gets it! It's awful.
I'm the same, Mary Ellen - quiet, but chatty around people I'm comfortable with. Love this spread 🙂

Yep I get it. And I guess I wasn’t clear. I have strasbismus and amblyopia. Amblyopia is the vision aspect
No I don’t think ur to chatty.I actually like that you talk to us.Your good,no worries

🙌🏻 It sucks!
No planner page is complete without a little cat hair 😻
Love this!
thank you for sharing. I also have a lazy eye and have had 5 surgeries. If you don't mind me asking who did your last surgery?
I honestly can’t remember his name it was so long ago but I wouldn’t recommend him, I remember not liking him
The sticker planning guides comes with a clear one with no lines. It says custom on the corner.
Oh duh! But I cut it down for my mini
@@PlanningwithBumble oh yeah. I think I remember. 😅
Cute!
I have a lazy eye too, so everything you said hit home! Stupid eye ball lol
Yep both my eyeballs are stupid 😂
I am yelling at Mary Ellen where I want her to put stickers and washi. Rarely does she hear me lol 😂
Nope I never do 😹
The space on the left needs a.sloth or one of the sloth boxes
I kinda wanted to keep him as the only sloth on the page 😝🤷🏼♀️

Amblyopia and strabismus here. And I got it from my father too. None of my kids have it but my grandsons do.👁👁
Hmm interesting. Hope my grandkids dont get it, but there are definitely worse things

I have both unfortunately! But when I am wearing glasses or looking close up it isn’t noticeable anymore thankfully.
