Ah, a UK Gold repeat, from the days when they genuinely raided the archives, now the channel is a pale shell of its former self. I rather enjoy these programmes from the days of studio-bound dramas, with long, wordy scenes, somehow there was enough intrigue or character development to keep most viewers watching. This multi-camera style looks pretty old-fashioned now, though, but I grew up with stuff like this, and appreciate how things have changed on TV.
wasn't the actor bill in this episode also in colditz in the episode of a soldier finds a way out by pretending to go dollally? keep sharing best wishes
I used to hate this when I was a kid. It seemed like the most incredibly boring TV you could ever imagine. Interestingly, now about 40 years on.....it STILL seems like the most incredibly boring TV you could ever imagine.......
I love this show great times great memories
My mum and dad were glued to this every Sunday evening, remember it well.
I have recently discovered The Brothers. I find it an interesting soap like drama serial from the "70"s.

Yeah, things have changed. Now, TV is total shit.

@quigley1able- I remember the nuns catching a couple of us young ones (back then I was about 8/9) out by asking us the names of the brothers:-)
