I am sorry to say when I hereby hurt feelings of the majority but he is truly spot on regarding Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. His musical knowledge was limited to Qawaalis only and could never reach the levels of a hardcore classical singer let alone reaching the level of Chote Ghulam Ali. At Geet level he however composed very beautiful songs but yet again NFAK can never be compared to a classical singer. Sure if the majority doesn't comprehend this difference but a highly academic person would never compare a Master's degree with a PhD right?

Ustad Nusrat Ji is my all time favourate. But on same accord I loved Ustad Assad. You can not compare the two. They are two distinct genre of music.
