For anyone wondering, in 2022 this was already patched, so you must win on tracks that has a medium lenght... good news is, coin rewards were greatly improved, so you can get 725 coins (around that) if you win. Last places can get even around 500 coins.

This games needs to give us more ways to earn coins, a leveling up system that give us coins and scraps every time we level up would be really nice, also limited time events that give you cars and coins would be really cool aswell!
I thought their plan was to do seasons, separate from the passes, where you rank up and earn rewards but I csnt find any more info on it atm

Someone on the Hot Wheels discord suggested a new campaign +, that replaces the decoration items with gears, coins and boxes.

Didn't know the RD-02 was OP. The game just gave it to me as 1 of the 3 starters car at the beginning of the game.
It's OP when it has the Legendary status but still very good

It's weird to make it loot box base with barely anyway to make good money on the grind. That you have to cheese the multiplayer to get good money.
I'm not surprised that an Acceleracers car is the fastest.... Let's wait for the Teku and MM to drop let them all DOMINATE THE GAME

The acceleracers love puts a smile on my face, but I didn't know either. I mean, I went rdo any time I was having trouble. I knew it was fast, but I didn't know the game community knew it as OP. Plus, it's just a goon car, a fantastic goon car, but not even driven by a named character. I can't wait for the Debora II on October 21st.
The should add challenge nodes to the campaign map that rotate out every 24 hours. Get a few free boxes, some coins and some gears every day just for doing them. Daily bonuses were pretty much made for games like this.

Love the coverage of this game! Don't hesitate to use that influence to make suggestions! There's a lot left to be implemented like track/creator search, creator page for content, track playlists/buckets, etc. It's a very fun and enjoyable game to play and watch. I recreated Mt. Akina (Haruna irl) downhill from Initial D on Xbox and lost it to time lol. Keep up the great videos and thanks for sharing with us!

@@kriskater Once you've shared a track, it's posted to a list that's sorted by newest. This is the only list of custom tracks online accessible in-game.

with an average of 50 coins a race, you need 140 races to make a common a legendary.

I'm getting 36 second laps on the track you were doing at the end in the RD-02. Using the batmobile :). The cheese method is excellent though 100k coins is way too much grinding. Should be able to get coins in time trial

after watching slaptrain video and he said "you must be grind really hard to afford 50 boxes". and then you show this video and your campaign map. jeez no wonder you can buy that much box

For me, I have to play the Race event set in the Crossroads track in the Basement to rake in more money, but I fully utilized all the vehicles I have in my in-game collection. Basically 20 cars/20 times = a thousand HW coins earned.

I have the Koenigesgg, not sure if I got it in a blind box, but I did get a STH roger dodger in the shop and a STH sweet 16 deora too, they are the only two I have, but I have unlocked the tow truck, 442 and the bus, a brilliant game, I love it.
I’ve fully completed the game two things this game needs 1. A horn so you can “beep beep” past people online and 2. Cross platform play. The devs did a great job!! 8.5/10
Been playing for 6 days. (No DeLorean, no tmnt van. All I want is those 2... how hard to get. They don't shop up in limited offers yet.

How is RD-02 OP if 24 Ours have better handling and 2 boosts? Are those stats misleading?
To be honest if they wanted to make the game so much fun they could have but they decided to make a game where you have to grind to earn things. That’s not fun for kids.
I've got like 7 cars including the Jesko. i have even shared a very nice livery for it
for the official route "crossing" you need 3 minutes with loading times. there you get 525 coins per win. makes over 10,000 an hour

What if. Playing on switch with No multi-player mode. How to make coin ? Re-race for 50 coins per race. How long would that take.

i really wish they made getting coins idk better. like why does it feel like for ever to even get enough for just one blind box. it needs somewhat a bump like for single player its nothing on easy, 50 for medium to extreme why not have easy be 50 and each difficulty be higher and higher for winning.

btw you can get limited edition cars in boxes. i bought the 1200 limited edition Daytona black and blue livery and 3 days later got it in a box. the best car i played with is the 24 ours same everything as the Jesco but handles better and is 2 seconds faster

Cheat engine. Don't waste your time on these drop rates. I got my first STH car after 300 boxes... grinding for that would be unbearable

@@kriskater cheat engine let's you change values in games. Games that have for example Currency saved localy in your game and not Serversided.. are very easy to change that value to whatever you want. There should be plenty of guides. Getting all cars took me around 1000 blind boxes. Have fun grinding that. Also the afk ppl in multiplayer are annoying. Just cheat it ffs

People just idle in multiplayer. Let others finish races for them and blocking the track. Every race has 2-3players are not playing

My method is to go to 1 of the races that would give me 40 coins & get 50 so long as I win 1st place. Of course that means it's about 10 races later to get 500 coins...
To all the ps plus players they've made it easier for coins and in my opinion most efficient way to make coins is to learn the applied gravity shortcut and it cuts the lap down to about a minute aka 3 laps 3 min 525 for first place in quick race 10 runs takes bout half hour for 5250

You can kinda "cheat" by backing up a save and open 3-4 boxes...; if you get a legendary (or higher), then sell the 3-4 cars, buy the 3-4 boxes without losing any money overall, and save and repeat. If you don't get legendary or higher, just download backup and repeat. When you sell cars, the game counts the coins made even if overall you don't get more coins (unless you get legendary first, in which case you can net 500 coins).
So, 100,000 coins trophy is easier. That being said, this method is useless as you can't cheap out on gears, unless you open box hoping for Special (or collection, forgot what it's called) to sell it for 500 gears. Basically same process as above but with only one box. As you probably have ~50 boxes, that will net you 25,000 gears assuming you go through with method. But again, i have no idea how long it will take. I only got one car in this method in my ~5hrs of trying. On the other hand, if you do quick races without cheese, it takes about 4min including loading to get 50 gold, equivalent to 5 gears. 500 gears means it takes ~400min, which is shy of 7 hrs. So you HAVE to cheese it, with 65-70 gold per ~45s, or 6.5-7 gears per min, that means about ~75min for 500 gears. Much better if you don't want to pray to RNG gods.
All in all, it's a terrible grind for trophy hunters. Otherwise, for casual play, you probably have enough after the campaign to upgrade a few cars that you really like and enough boxes to unbox for a few decent legendaries/collectibles.
Really hoping other ways to get gears will present itself.

I'd love to play multiplayer, hopefully XBox can stop being greedy and not require Gold status to play games online. It's quite dumb when I can play on Steam without needing to pay a fee just to play online when I am already paying for the game and the internet separately. Grinding out 50g in 3 minute races on the short basement tracks is so monotonous and I don't know if opening blind boxes when I have 41 cars unlocked is really worth it. Better off waiting in the shop. I have gotten several Jeskas and RD O2s and never use them. I use Nightshifter and used Bad to the Blade throughout the campaign until I got the Nightshifter at the end of it.
