This is a phenomenal video. Thank you for going so in-depth with this product and showing the setup process, evaluating it with two 27" monitors on it, showing the leftover bend, and taking the time to share your thoughts. I appreciate this great information! 😃
selw0nk Thank you! I find that it works quite well for my uses. The vertical orientation is excellent for websites, documents and so much more. I used to run a vertical 23” 1080p monitor but prefer both monitors to be 1440p avoiding window size change when dragging between monitors. Thanks for watching and commenting! Have a great day.
In the late 90s/early-2000s before dual/triple/quad/etc. monitors were as common as they are today; stands like this easily started at $300-$400 and were mostly all made by Ergotron. $29 is a trip! Thanks for the review.
ragnarocking Thank you for the feedback! Yes, it really wasn’t all that long ago I remember avoiding $300-$400 monitor stands too. Sure there are more premium options still but this one gets the job done for next to nothing.
I love the idea of these mounts but I don't think my desk count hand all the weight in a single spot, I feel like after sometime the desk would begin to bow in the middle or collapse.
Nice. Thanks for the review on this. My vivo dual monitor stand is arriving tmr. Setting up my 2017 27" 5k iMac and 27" 4K LG monitor on it. I also agree with freeing up desk space using these types of dual arm stands.
how did you make your monitors like one vertical and the other one horizontal and make them touch in trying but mine are not touching what do the arms in the back look like?
This was a really helpful video! Very thorough going into real practicality. I also plan on doing dual 27" with one I portrait. What desk is that btw? Belvant? I'm looking for one for my computer setup while still having a cleared desktop section.
Thank you! The desk is a Husky manually adjustable height workbench. They’re sold at Home Depot. They now come in black or white frames and up to 72” wide. The one you see in video is a 62” and was widest available when I purchased. I’ve been very happy with them for the money and find them very durable.
Do you think this mount would work with a metal frame? I've been looking every where for a mount that would look like it would work with my desk. I had a boom arm for my microphone that is supposed to mount on the desk but the frame is in the way of the clamp.
Mounts very much like a mic arm boom would just stronger. Needs a couple inches or so of surface to clamp to. There is also the option to put a hole in desk but idk if that is an option you’d consider.
Not sure if you mean both horizontal or not. With my two 27" monitors horizontal I can put one straight on to me with the arm parallel with the desk and have enough arm movement for the other monitor to be turned in quite a bit if this is what you are asking. One thing to keep in mind is that as you pull a monitor closer to you from the stand mount you loose arm reach reducing the amount in which the second monitor can be turned toward you. Hope this helps.
I have a question and it seems like I cant find anyone else doing this, With this monitor stand the main monitor you use the one on the left can you pull it closer to you? if so how many more inches you say its able to pull out more in front of you? and I mean as if you are pulling it without changing the angle or position as well as height just straight out from where it is now. I want to get this but I dont want to be limited on how close or far back i can place the main screen since the other will be used for just streaming chat while the main one I want closer for gaming.
I sometimes pull the main monitor closer. The downfall is with two 27” monitors in horizontal orientation. You’ll block the second monitor as you pull the main monitor toward you. With that being said you can pull the monitor toward you quite a bit probably something like 18” or more from the post. The arms aren’t long enough if you want to move two 27” horizontal monitors far from mounting post.
You can try something like this for monitors without VESA mount. I have never used one but this is what you’d need to use an arm. VIVO Adapter VESA Mount Kit for 20 to 30 inch LED LCD Monitor Screen, 75mm and 100mm mounting Bracket (Stand-VAD1) www.amazon.com/dp/B00RTS5WWM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_aMyjDb2BT5NES
Do you think it can accommodate one horizontal 23 inch monitor on top. As in a 3 monitor setup of one 23 inch and then another 23 inch on top with the third being a portrait 23 inch?
I don’t think this one will work for that. Vivo has a 4 monitor stand that sounds appropriate for what you’d like to do. You’d just remove the 4th arm.
You need about 2.5” of lip on the under side to clamp to desk. If you have less than this I’d suggest a different method or you’re taking your chances.
Thanks for the review! I'm looking at getting a second 27 inch monitor and I just wanted to ask is it possible to set one of the monitors (specifically the left side in my case) at a bit of an angle to face me better while still having them touch each other? Thanks again!
Thank you! There should be no problem turning one toward you and keeping them touching. Only thing I would note is that with two 27" monitors mounted horizontal the monitors will need to be positioned closest to the stand in order for the arms to be long enough to allow one turned in. The arms aren't really long enough for two 27" horizontal monitors to move much from the stand pole. Provided you don't mind the monitor being 0-2" in front of the desk mount (the rear of desk) you can turn one monitor very far in.
im wanting one of these but i dont know if it would work how i want it to... i like my main monitor directly flat infront of me with my second monitor too my left facing me on a 30-40 degree angle.... would this stand allow me to set it up like this if i have the stand off centered? to the left a bit? plz let me know if u could cheersss bro
Two 27” monitors horizontal? If one arm is straight out parallel with the desk you can bring the other monitor in a lot. If you pull one monitor more forward you’ll lose potential angle on the second. So as long as you’re cool with your monitor being toward the back of your desk you shouldn’t have any issues based on my understanding of what you look to accomplish.
Can you please help me, my monitors keep pointing downward, (like the monitor screen is facing me but tilts towards the desk, i tightened it as hard as possible and it still won’t work
ePepper I’m not sure what you can do if you tighten the right joint all the way. Maybe back the screw out and tighten it back down. If it doesn’t work out reach out to amazon they are awesome about custom support. They’ll send you another one. Not sure what else to say. Mine only tilt if I grab them and tilt them. I do have the screws pretty tight but they never move. Good luck friend.
You might also take the joint apart and make sure it’s clean and dry and that some oil or something didn’t get in there. Just throwing ideas out at this point. Amazon will definitely figure it out for ya otherwise.
Thanks man, nice video and very clean setup.. By the way do the arms sit flush with the centre stand or will I have to move my desk away from the wall? If so how far? I hope this makes sense I’m a bit tired
The arms can be in front of the stand but it depends on how you position them. If you want the monitors furthest from you, you have to push the arms back beyond the stand post. Either way you will need to pull the desk slightly away from wall when using the clamp method. How far depends on positioning. Hope this helps.
Yes this will work with two 27” monitors when one is pushed back toward mounting location. If you want the monitor in front to be closer you’ll lose the ability to move the side monitor in ward. If using two 23-24” monitors there will be a bit more room to position.
You said you need Allen keys to move them. Does that mean for example I can’t grab the left monitor and pull it closer when I’m playing games like fifa but still keeping the monitor on the right I’m the original position?
Joshua Shaw I could have been more clear on that part. You can grab one and move it closer to you while the other stays put. You can do this without using tools. It will cause it to gradually loosen over time and require some occasional tightening with the included Allen’s.
I couldn’t tell you exactly but based on what I’ve seen with two 27” monitors I don’t see why not. As long as the monitors don’t have really thick bezels. I’d also make sure the 32” isn’t too heavy. Size wise I think you’d be good with a 24 and 32. I don’t have a 32 on hand to try.
Thank you! I should have included some visual representation of what I meant. Where the monitor mount slips onto the arm there is a nut that secures the mount to the arm. The threaded bolt that the nut goes on has an Allen keyed end. With the nut off you can use the smallest included Allen to raise the resting position of the monitor. This is a set it and leave it type deal. There's roughly 1/2" or so of adjustment.
I want to have a vertical setup like yours! Can you change the height of the monitor individually? I want the bottom of my horizontal to be in line with the bottom of my vertical. Yours is shown with the horizontal kind of in the middle of the vertical one.
The position of the monitor(s) in relation to the post determines the distance from the wall. As long as the arm closest to the post doesn’t have to be pushed back further than the post you only need an inch tops beyond the desk to mount on the back of a desk.
To accommodate all positions the mount allows for sometimes the arms need to bend back beyond their mounting location. This usually the case if using small monitors and or a vertical combination. If touching the monitors together is desired.
Nice was thinking of getting one. question my water block for my 8700k cracked so I went back to my 7 year old . You heat sync it's a thermalright true black 120 with 2 120mm fans It looks like a hyper 212 . I was wondering when u stress tested your 8700k @ 1.38v delided on the hyper 212 @ 5 ghz and you ran Asus real bench stress test for 1 hr what was your maximum core temp hr test peak temp running 5 ghz 8700k delided 1.38v on Asus real bench? I ran Asus real bench 1.37v 5 ghz delided iquid metal under the heat sync to ^^ 8 full hrs I got 82c was hottest peak core temp. I was surprised. Bf1 I get spikes to 72c with the 1080ti just wanted to know your temps on the previous video.
JayP Tek your 8600k vs 8700k delided vs non delided heat sync hyper 212 vs h100 . I was just seeing what temps u were getting after the 8700k delid with the hyper 212 @ 5 ghz 1.4v and what temps were u getting in Asus real bench 1.256 stress test for comparison.
When I used the 212 EVO with my custom fan curve and 8700K @ 5.0Ghz 1.408v the temps were too high for my taste. I hit absolute peak of 77 C in BF1 and broke into the 90s in Realbench. I could improve on this by turning fan speed up and/or adding another 120mm fan to the cooler. Additionally, like you did I could have put liquid metal under the heatsink as well. Being that it is conductive I typically choose not to use liquid metal there but you can certainly improve temps that way. I think I can only get up to 4.8-4.9 Ghz on my particular 8700K at the 1.38v you have yours at. Another thing to note is I also used a higher load line calibration (LLC) so 1.408v is what I see when I am 100% load. Based on your configuration your temps seem right in line with what they should be. I hope I answered your question. If not feel free to ask it again. Thanks for coming by!
JayP Tek thanks for the info I wanted a base line on my temps compared to another person with a cooler like mine same tests and almost same voltege. Thanks man. I did 8 hrs Asus real bench max was( 82c) on one core peak and average was around 73c Bf1 no fps lock 1080ti in 1440p I see a peak temp on on3 core @ 72 c 1.38v in bf1 . Thanks for comparisons now I know that I where I am with this cooler seems legit
Okay, so I don't know if u still are answering questions bc this video is from 2018. Well, my question is If this stand will fit an "AOC g2590fx" and "AOC G2460VQ6" and what it looks like? is that the arms aren't so long so I can have my main monitor totally in front of me... but at the same time my second monitor is turned a bit. i don't know what to call it? I mean when u look to the right of the left but the screen isn't totally on a straight line w the other... Xx Pls help me out :D
Looks like your monitors are 24” and 25” so you should have a bit of room to angle one in. How much exactly, I can say. You barely can with 27” screens but not like you’d want in that size.
Provided you don’t push the arms past parallel with the desk only about an 1” max for clamping method. If both monitors are not 27” it is possible to push them pretty far toward desk mount but this will require more desk to wall space.
assassin It’s fine. Nothing special but good for a simple second monitor. I guess if you found one for the right price it could be worth it. Otherwise, I would look to something newer.
ranicuse are you saying your table has about 6 cm of over hang to clamp to? If so this would be just enough as long as you have a little more room on table surface. The surface part of clamp requires more inward area. Just make sure you table is solid. There is also the option to drill through anywhere on the surface and mount that way too.
Its been 2 years since you posted this but I see you are still replying to comments. Do you still use this monitor stand and if so has the tilt started to sag forward on the horizontal 27inch? (like does it tilt forward just slightly?)
I’ve used ever since this video. I haven’t had a tilt issue but I do have the screw for tilt cranked quite tight. I do think they could do more to ensure it doesn’t tilt. I actually have it holding a 34” LG ultra wide and vertical 23” as in this video.
Thanks for the response! I've been thinking about getting this now for my single monitor setup and getting another monitor later and did not want to have to buy two different stands throughout this important single to double monitor stage in my life. Nice video btw, deserve some more subs.
Ethan Coe You’re welcome! I like your idea. This monitor stand would certainly allow you to run a clean solo setup and reattach the second arm when the need arises. I can’t say it enough, this stand is worth every penny! Thanks for watching and commenting!
When you edit a comment the heart goes away because people would prank youtubers after they heart a comment and edit their comment to say something like "heart this if you're gay" or something along those lines. lol
TrexyOnFN It’s a Dell U2312HM not sure if you can buy it new anymore it’s getting older now. Might be able to get used somewhere. I think I paid $150 or something back when it was new. $150 gets more monitor now.
Great setup & review! How has the stand held up since you've purchased it? I'm looking to getting it, and wondering how much of a horizontal swivel it has for the monitors to position them towards each other.
Dennis W thank you! Stand is still great. A purchase I would do all over again in a heartbeat. I wondered why I didn’t do this sooner. There is a lot of horizontal adjustment between the arms and swivel point on the monitor mount. 2 x 27” monitors horizontal mounted is definitely within the means of the stand as Vivo claims. Very solid product for the money. Only drawback would be for those looking for on the fly vertical adjustment. If you’re fine with setting and leaving the vertical height alone it’s great. Arm length is fairly long too allowing pulling a screen closer if needed.

It’s actually a Husky adjustable height workbench from Home Depot. Ran about $220 at time of purchase and is very stout. Comes with high quality casters as well as stationary feet to meet various requirements. I love them I bought 3. Only wish they were slightly deeper sometimes but the monitor mount used here helped free up considerable space. 24” deep.
Gunserrk Gaming any monitor with a VESA mount should work in that configuration provided the bezel isn’t huge. For esthetic purposes look for a monitor that has a symmetrical bezel design. I’ve had both a 27” and 23” monitor vertically mounted on this stand. The bigger the monitor the higher the arms will need to be on the post so keep that in mind if you have concerns for the height of your horizontal monitor from the desk.

The threaded bolt that the nut goes on has an Allen keyed end. With the nut off you can use the smallest included Allen to raise the resting position of the monitor. This is a set it and leave it type deal. There's roughly 1/2" or so of adjustment.
@@JayPTek awesome. Thanks a lot for the thorough response. All the best.
I want to have a vertical setup like yours! Can you change the height of the monitor individually? I want the bottom of my horizontal to be in line with the bottom of my vertical. Yours is shown with the horizontal kind of in the middle of the vertical one.
You would need something different than the stand shown here. This one unfortunately doesn’t allow for independent height adjustment.
@@JayPTek thank you! ☺️
How flat can you set it against the wall? I am looking for something I can sit as flush as possible against a wall.
If touching the monitors together is desired.
is there room for you to angle the vertical monitor towards your face more?
Yes with one monitor vertical there is plenty of arm to angle inward. With two horizontal 27” monitors there isn’t much angle allowed.
Nice was thinking of getting one. question my water block for my 8700k cracked so I went back to my 7 year old . You heat sync it's a thermalright true black 120 with 2 120mm fans
It looks like a hyper 212 .
I ran Asus real bench 1.37v 5 ghz delided iquid metal under the heat sync to ^^
8 full hrs I got 82c was hottest peak core temp. I was surprised. Bf1 I get spikes to 72c with the 1080ti just wanted to know your temps on the previous video.
Which video are you referring to and I will try to answer for you?
Thanks man.
I did 8 hrs Asus real bench max was( 82c) on one core peak and average was around 73c
Bf1 no fps lock 1080ti in 1440p I see a peak temp on on3 core @ 72 c 1.38v in bf1 .
JayP Tek, hmm.. I’m just “afraid” I buy it and I can angle my screen.
Do you need to mount the monitor vertically, or can you mount it horizontally and just move it vertically?
It can be mounted horizontally and rotated vertical without remounting.
JayP Tek nice I just got this and it’s amazing for my setup
How big does the gap need to be between the back of the desk and the wall
Provided you don’t push the arms past parallel with the desk only about an 1” max for clamping method. If both monitors are not 27” it is possible to push them pretty far toward desk mount but this will require more desk to wall space.
YO, what your model of your Dell??? THANKS
U2312HM
JayP Tek is it still worth it?
JayP Tek cause I can’t find any monitor for second
assassin It’s fine. Nothing special but good for a simple second monitor. I guess if you found one for the right price it could be worth it. Otherwise, I would look to something newer.
What monitors are those please
Nice Video, i wasn't sure if the 27" will fit
Jorge Hernandez Thanks! Yup two 27s fit quite nicely.
I have table with back panel (T - shape) and 6 centimeters of space to screw hook. Is it enough?
ranicuse are you saying your table has about 6 cm of over hang to clamp to?
Is the mount height adjustable ?
Yea but both arms move as one and aren’t independently adjustable.
thanks!!!!
Hey Iam not sure if you would still read this but do you mind telling me what speaker and Asus monitor that is

@@JayPTek well you responded within 24 minutes wasn't expecting that thx for the reply
I want one of those Husky workbenches.
they seem to be really nice but they are not available in Mexico yet.
😔 sorry to here that. Hopefully they go on sale there. I like them for the money.
Can you take off one of the arms. making it a single monitor mount?
Yes you can remove an arm if you choose. If you only want a single mount they sell single mount models as well.
Nice
What monitor do you use for the portrait mode?
The first one was a dell 23” U2312HM and later dell 27” U2713H.
JayP Tek thanks
Did the screw to mount the monitors coke with the stand?
Yes it comes with thumb screws to attach monitors to mount.
300th like lol I lucky! edit: Thanks for hearting my comment, as it really means a lot!
wait i cant see the heart no joke
well he did heart it now he unhearted it. I bet if I never edited it saying thank you for the heart he wouldve kept it there. :( OH well.

When you edit a comment the heart goes away because people would prank youtubers after they heart a comment and edit their comment to say something like "heart this if you're gay" or something along those lines. lol
whats the inches on both monitors?
27” for both horizontal and 27” horizontal and 23” vertical. These were the two configurations shown here.
What kind of desk do you have?
Husky 62” adjustable height workbench from Home Depot. Very solid desk.
does it come with the vesa adapter @ 6:21
Yes it does.
are you able to adjust the height of the arms?
Radar Lund they are height adjustable but not independently adjustable. There is small independent adjustment to help make sure your monitors line up.
That's what I was wondering thank you!
can u tell me that it was 8.4 pounds? or less?
yooo nice vid. what desk do you have?
Thanks! It’s actually a manual height adjustable workbench by Husky from Home Depot.
Okey thx 😃👍
What desk do you have
Husky manual height adjustment workbenches from Home Depot. Believe this is 62-64” model. They make a 72” length now. All are 24” deep. Very sturdy.
What monitors do u have

what is your vertical monitor

JayP Tek hey thanks
Will this stand work with an hp pavilion
Bubba Popularmmos it should work with any monitor with a VESA mount. I can’t guarantee it works with what you asked do you have a model number?
Look at the back of the monitor and if there are 4 holes then it should work
What is the standing monitors price?
I’m sorry I’m not sure what you mean. Are you asking about the monitor I have positioned vertically?
@@JayPTek yes
TrexyOnFN It’s a Dell U2312HM not sure if you can buy it new anymore it’s getting older now. Might be able to get used somewhere. I think I paid $150 or something back when it was new. $150 gets more monitor now.
How thick is that work bench
1.2” according to manufacturer
Hi! Thanks for your video. One question. How long is your desk? I just have 40cm front
Jose Chaves Porras 62”x24” or about 157cm x 60cm is the desk size here.
How much did your setup cost without your pc? Its so clean
GarnoxGaming Thank you! Name the pieces you include when you say setup and I can let you know what it ran me. Thanks for watching!

24” deep.
Nice video, does the stand come with the Alan keys that is needed?
Yup comes with three Allen keys that are stored on the stand in a cable management clip.
JayP Tek thanks for responding, great video! Btw what would you search to find a monitor like the one you have sideways.
JayP Tek I was just looking for maybe a 19” monitor, something for viewing like twitch chat and keeping OBS on it.
Gunserrk Gaming Right on, yea anything with a vesa mount really.
