  • Howzit y'all, this time around I try to dive after work to find some fish. I really wanna bring home fish to save and enjoy for special occasions that are coming up. Of course, it was a matter of time before I come across one of "those" dives that I really gotta try and persevere thru and really work hard for. Check out my humbling experience.

Super helpful video bro. I loved your recap. It verified some of the exact thoughts I’ve been having about my own diving. If you ever need someone to spear with, just let me know. Hate to see you going out solo, and my wife hates it when I’m out there alone.

You know you live in a truly special place when you can leave your diving equipment in the water and no one touches it. On Oahu, it's not uncommon for thieves to steal even worn out rubber slippers if you leave it on the beach. They'll steal your towel too.

lol that’s so true SMS I’m eternally grateful for that. Lanai is surely changing and we can’t be 100% trusting that someone won’t steal something now a days but im still grateful thoughts like this can still cross my mind

Thats so awesome and gotta be thankful no one took your float. Truly special place..lana'i. have things organized next time when you need to dive. I always have a dive bag with everything in it so nothing gets left behind.

Damn! Last time i was there there was only black lava boulders for a wall talking w/the harbor master who told me that big sharks were pulling the leaders out straight tied to the buoys so he thought i should be aware of that. Name i believe was Ron McOmber?

Looks like the current was just enough to alter your body positioning. But glad you got out. Even after work you need to look forward to outings like this. When you're this stressed you should stay within 55ft. Less stress on yourself. Stay safe bro:)

@@toonlife You're to kind. Just worried that you went solo. I used to do that all the time diving commercially on my boat before. I had to because it was my job. Be safe my friend.
