    awesome and practical modification.... i am looking for small and silent exhaust. market is full of loud exhaust which can be fun occasionally but in long tour/city ride it becomes headache for rider and other people as well. please make a cb350's short video again if possible they have recalled for some gear issue.

    • @bigbearbangalore
      @bigbearbangalore 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! Agree on the exhaust bit. And I was told by one of our viewers that the KTM390 Adv exhaust fits the Xpulse well. I’ll explore that and share more information when possible.
      There has been a recall on the CB and if I was a CB owner, this will not bother me at all. I’ll get the repairs done, even if it means opening the engine, and get on with my travels and fun. Engines are not human bodies where a surgery like operating on the heart has long lasting negative effects. In fact this gearbox upgrade / change will likely make the engine better! 😊
      Cheers!

    1. have you slightly modified the edges of side stand to install the shoe??
    2. any chance of changing the stock light... i am totally not satisfied with its illumination
    3. i am 5'8" still feel if i could reduce the sitting height slightly will help me more to have a good control on this beast.... by reducing the rear suspension by 2 points will it help??

    • @bigbearbangalore
      @bigbearbangalore 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! No mods, the shoe fit onto the stand foot directly. And, the stock light seems ok for my kind of use but you can consider changing it or better still, add a pair of Mad Dog aux lights. Two click reduction on the rear shock reduces the pre-load, and instead you can consider reducing the seat foam height. Cheers!

    You mentioned these barkbusters are for your Himalayan.
    Since I'm unable to get Barkbusters for my XPulse 200 BSVI, I'm considering what you did. Is it a straightforward fit or are there some modifications needed on either the handlebar or the Barkbusters?

    i'd be damned if the excel weight is only 1/4th of a steel rim. but it's not true. the excel, metal for metal has more aluminum than a mild steel rim has mild steel. the rim weight differences are only a few grams vs steel rims. what you gain is rigidity and strength
