Hey guys. One pointer : it is actually super common in france tonsee this plane advertising flying thing above and in front of the public beaches, i am pretty sure it is real plane and ad. At least it could be. Fact is I did not even question it at all until I saw this chapter

Nike and Adidas skate shoes...what have we become...
@no:stalgia Nike was founded in 1964 and didn't make Nike SB until 2002. Adidas was founded in 1949 and broke into skating in the late 80s. The issue is these are big corporations who add skateboarding onto their catalogs as just another revenue stream. They aren't skateboarding through and through. They didn't have skateboarding in mind until decades later after their founding. Support the guys that had skateboarders in mind from the beginning.
@no:stalgia You responded with Nike and Adidas were making them earlier, making the claim that they were there before core shoes. I described why it doesn't matter who claims "first", you're still repping a multi billion dollar corporation that had been operating for 30-40+ years without giving skaters the time of day until they realized they could add another revenue stream to their portfolio. Also never once did I mention gatekeeping. You did.
People have been skating Nike Blazers since the 70s. Gotta know your history.
