  • We had a great opprotunity to chat with Ronald van den Bergh from Govers Koeltechniek. Govers is a large commercial and industrial contractor out of Netherlands and we discuss the challenges he has face when they started installing and servicing CO2 systems.

Pumped CO2 transcritical systems are very interesting. We install industrial 2-stage ammonia systems with liquid overfeed and they are really efficient. So CO2 pumped systems should be really efficient as well. The key to efficiency is running as high a suction pressure as practicable and at lower condensing pressures as the system will allow.

You are spot on. When you can do that will a floating suction and condensing you will save your customer a lot when the system is running properly and effectively.

From the point of view of troubleshooting a CO2 system has the advantage of having all the necessary instrumentation to understand what's going on inside the system.

100% it gives you a full picture of the whole system in a few screens and you can make logical decisions when you understand the data you are looking at.
