honestly it makes more sense to say that the producers are tim and the other kid all grown up, and decided to make a show about their teacher and a few wacky adventures cause theres no way in hell they had a field trip every single day

indeed, problem being like he said it’s said to be happening in real time. As in the show is happening and being recorded live action like and the children are even taking calls about the episode. I don’t think it’s an everyday thing, it’s a show even with all the magic and such they’d still need time to edit out things they don’t want to be seen and such. So it’s probably a weekly thing and the school would allow it because if everybody in the world is watching the show, they’re making BANK.
So realistically it IS a show they made to show off the wacky adventures they went on with their teacher, they’re just using clones to do so. Keep in mind the parents might even be in on it as actors too since we see them DURING episodes never after. Also the kids would be a lot richer in real life so seeing as the parents are still working and such that’s def an in show family, not an actual family

I used to watch shows like Team UmiZoomie and PBS kids shows in the morning before going to class in Elementary school. We used to go to this areas called "Flex Spaces" connected to all of the classes in their grades (i.e. kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, etc.).
