Missed you so much! Always such great content! I've been watching since Sandy was a baby, which I'm so glad that you're taking the approach of not showing the kids faces. I think a healthier way for them to grow up, I will miss seeing how much they'll change. You both look better than ever.
What's the difference if they show their faces or not? Their images, names and likeness still featured on a popular channel.

@@stitches318 it’s a sense of privacy on such a big platform that Ellen created. The kids didn’t choose to be on the channel from the beginning, as get older they choose whatever platform they want when they want. It’s just more awareness.
Naaahhh, it's very very boring without the kids. I watch since the first one and it is so weird to not see them anymore. I mean she showed every kid, also the last one and then she promptly stopped. I miss them. They are so cute.
@@andgarcia9 but where's the sense of privacy just because their faces aren't shown? Their names are still out there, locations, what they're doing, what they're eating, who their parents are, even their voices. At that point why not just show their faces? What's the difference?

With the amount of views and comments it’s safe to say we still love your videos. Not so much interested in some of the podcasts and don’t have time to listen to long ones but also watching since Elvis was a baby and love to watch you.
Years ago I was getting a massage and before she started the therapist asked if I worked in or out of the home, that stuck with me and I love that phrasing.

Ellen, I’ve been watching you for many many years, normally as silent viewer however I have to commend you on Taking approach of no longer showing your children’s face. I truly believe this is a healthy long-term goal, in my personal opinion I don’t think it makes a difference. You still get the idea of your beautiful children and their personalities.

A lot of this has to do with the laws being passed in states like California which goes after content creators that prominently feature their children in vlogs. The kids deserve a cut of the check

Wishing you success in your other projects. Seasons change and watching you and your kids navigate life has been a blessing. I noticed their faces are gone now, it was like a door was closed. That is probably best for them in the long run, but we will miss them. Times change and your TH-cam channel might not be a priority now? I'm so glad you can keep all that hard work you did to keep those memories forever.

In Indonesia we always making fried bananas with that kind of green bananas as morning snack. We always mix the green bananas with vanilla batter and fried them until golden brown. And they're so good pairing with coffee

Always a pleasure to see your videos (and listen to your podcast too). Is that a ceramic pot with the cocoa in it in which you are using metal with it? Metal damages ceramic big time, and creates toxins when it is scratched. I suggest silicone with ceramics. I love that your kids are using Bob Ross to encourage their painting. Congratulations on the piano. Your kids are doing a great job. When my oldest children were homeschooled, they also followed the Suzuki method for their instruments and it was amazing. Unfortunately after a few years they gave up those things as there was no passion behind it. I hope your kids will have a passion that sticks for them!
How about a wooden spoon? Silicone is made from mineral oil…

so crazy I've been thinking about you earlier this week and wondering when you will post again, and there you are. I feel sad not seeing the kids faces anymore, although I can understand your decision. but as a long time viewer, like years and years, it feels different and kind of makes me wonder if this approach is really doable for the long term. meaning it doesnt make me feel welcomed, and I know it sounds selfish but thats how it makes me feel, like it doesnt give the wholesome feeling your videos used to give. but I am happy for you and your happy healthy beautiful family ❤

You need a greenhouse to grow tomatoes and cukes in Hawaii?? Isn't it warm enough without a greenhouse?
it's deifnitely warm enough! we have different kinds of issues like lots of bugs and other things. the greenhouse even in hawaii creates controlled temperature regulation, protecting the plants from extreme heat and fluctuations in nighttime temperatures. And pretty much every farmer we know at the farmers market grows theirs in a greenhouse. Weve grown tomatoes on our land without a greenuouse before but have never had a super great harvest. i would love a bountiful amount of tomatoes to make our own pasta sauces one day :)
@@EllenFisher Sounds great. I struggle with growing tomatoes here in sw Montana too. Unheated polytunnel didn't help much. Oh well. Greens grow really well here. Nothing grows in winter though. Hope you get your greenhouse soon! Love seeing everything you can grow on your property there.

Although I will miss seeing your children's beautiful faces. I am very happy you are protecting. Their privacy . It is very sad and unfortunate, but we live in a world where there are a lot of pedophiles that scour the internet for those that are not aware. As a mother, I would never show my child's face.
